4 /5 B Sigrid: Really nice place to just relax and have a picnic. There are a lot of dogs of leash here so if you don’t like dogs, I wouldn’t come here. It’s really nice to come here by boat and just look out onto the water when relaxing. There are lots of places for BBQ so I would recommend getting some friends and just having a nice day out. The wildlife is so nice and truly one of a kind.
5 /5 Rooftop Escape campers: This part of Sydney is a true hidden gem .
You will be pleasantly surprised by is old terraced gardens and incredible views right down to its very own private beach .
We got recommendations from several people to do our wedding photos hear and I can tell
You it was absolutely perfect.
5 /5 Shivanthan Balendra: Wonderful park with an excellent walking trail by the waters. Kids had good fun walking the trail with frequents stops by the shore for some activity. Beautiful views of the waters and across. Overall, a very entertaining trip and well worth it.
4 /5 Abe Ayoubi: One of a few convenient parks around! Park is accessible for all genres and ages. Unfortunately I couldn’t see any wheelchair access/mobility access.
Apart from that, very safe and recommended for family mainly who have kids.
Kayaking and fishing would be fun here. Also not too bad for swimming but water is not really clear. Too many leaves floating….
5 /5 Rose Mademoiselle: Omg...such a hidden spot where I extremely dream and admire of!!!
Very cozy and comfortable. This is the best place for family and loved people who like to enjoy the beauty of nature with chitchat.
No tide, shallow depth of the sea, also best for sailing.
Renee Katona What an amazing perfect Australian made castle we have out at Greenethorpe New South Wales
I had the privilege of attending an open day this gave us all a glimpse of the past .
the perfect gardens the attention to detail that the volunteers putting in day and day out just open the house for a few days a year.
A must for all to see and visit. Definitely stay in Cowra and travel down for the day
Denzel Patel Great quiet park with plenty of parking nearby. There is a playground, basketball court and an outdoor gym. Also 2 soccer fields and a walking track that loops around them.
Tarryn Myburgh A quiet area less known with amazing views and a real escape from the city. Some bush hikes that can go further or you can keep it short and stay in the region. Highly recommend for an adventure walk or a family picnic spot. My husband and I set up our hammocks and stayed there for hours
Chris Wyatt This pristine bush land contains fine examples of local Sydney ridge top heath forest and open woodland featuring Sydney’s famous Red Gums. You can see glimpses of Bantry Bay from the walking track.
Cooper Castle Cove Lookout is a worthwhile stop with stunning views. From the parking area, you can take in beautiful meadows and valleys on one side, and the ocean and beaches on the other. The lookout is conveniently close to the parking lot, making it an easily accessible and rewarding spot to visit.
jason o Great little hidden beach. No waves so safe for children. The water is ok to splash around in, though I would be cautious about swimming in it if its rained recently.
The walk down is not too difficult with good stairs and we completed with a 3 year old doing it all by himself there and back in about 10 mins each way.
