Tuckwell Park

Em Great park with lots of open space! Also has plenty of parking and a really good-looking play area. And, around the park, theres a path, so you can ride a bike or run.

Quandong Reserve

Em Small and modest, this park is nestled between apartment buildings. Its perfect for a small family visit. It doesnt show off and its a traditional type of park. If youre looking for something more modern, head to Eleura Park down the road!

Macquarie Watchtower

Alan Huynh Beautiful landmark that oversees the waters surrounding Botany Bay and Malabar beach. Really beautiful to look at surrounded by fresh grass. It’s situated in an ideal place for sunset views and to see people taking their wedding pictures. Highly recommend visiting La peruse. You’ll also see a lot of cyclists, car enthusiasts and motorists in the area because it’s a nice place to just chill out and hang around. You can get there via bus and there are also toilets and a bubbler in the area

Macquarie Place Park

Stacey Trock Little spot in the heart of Sydney packed with points of interest. One that many people dont know about is the Distance of Your Heart art installation. Its 60 bronze birds perched along Bridge Street. Its quite an adventure to find them! 12 are in the park, as well as the bench with the name of the installation. Youll also find Macquaries obelisk, the original measuring point for Sydney (notice the measurements are in miles!). And a cannon and anchor from the Sirius, flagship of the First Fleet. Theres an original well "keep the pavement dry!" and if you look at the NE corner, youll see an iron dome. These used to be public toilets, but were long ago filled in. As a park, its a bit grotty, but if youre looking to sit, just walk a block to Circular Quay for amazing views. And theres a gorgeous little laneway on the northern side for drinks.

Thomas H. Halton Park

Trollie What a great park. Water play. Wheel chair accessible. Large format allows children to be free while being in a fenced area as the dogs play nearby. A long awaited upgrade that looks great and will be great for the kids for years to come. Bathrooms and Bbqs have not been forgotten in the upgrade either. Getting locked out of the car here was not an issue Access Now Newcastle was there to help in no time. Number attached if anyone needs it.

Waterloo Park

Jigar Jethwani Great park for a walk in the morning or evening. However, they dont turn on the lights after sunset or during dark. Path is really good, almost a kilometer long. There is a kid playground as well and many water bubblers along the way. It even has a washroom, and ample parking along all the sides of park. Indeed, a very well maintained park.
