4 /5 Carmel Whiting: I am an independent disability support worker and I took my participant to this park as he loves to walk. We walked around the park looking at all the ducks and birds around the pond area. Then we went along one of the dirt bush tracks taking in the scenery and boats on the water. He loved the view and looking at the boats and bird life. We also appreciated the toilets and covered picnic tables to eat our lunch at. There was also a play ground for young children but we didnt use it. Plenty of parking. Also the grounds are always being maintained. Beautiful place to visit.

5 /5 Gary L: Its a very hidden park that separates between urban and nature. It sits in the heart of a nice area that is near a river looking from above. You may find some ducks around too.

Peakhurst Park

myles lc Great large space. Has lots of grass area. Has an artificial soccer pitch which you can use for training anytime soccer is not being played on it. Has a good larger half court basketball city with a good rim and backboard. Has a play ground area. Has toilets. Shade is from trees near the play area. Not fenced off from the road. Can get busy. In non Covid times gets very busy in sports days - but hey it’s good it’s being used.

Gannons Park

Gaith Bader This is one of the niches and most versatile parks in the Georges River area. You have pike paths, walking paths, off leash dog area, water ponds, toilets, lots of grass and trees, and a surrounding forest. Bins and also BBQ facilities. The atmosphere is great, and you feel youre in the wilderness when youre actually in the middle of a suburb! Well done Georges River Council, for developing and maintaining a great area for everybody to enjoy, including our pets. Its worth a visit, and if your kids have a game of cricket or football in the Gannons fields, bring your pet, a book and your other little ones to enjoy and not drive you crazy :-)
