C Tatsis I absolutely love getting my hair done by the ladies at Milly Rose. I always walk away feeling like a new person with the most show stopping hair!
I feel confident in each hairdresser that works there to achieve my desired colour of blonde. Also, love that the ladies are all so friendly and the place is beaming with positive vibes. I can’t recommend this salon enough. I’ll be a forever customer! ❤️

Laura M Avoid.
Had a full head of foils and a style cut. It cost an obscene amount of money for someone with such little experience. A few days later I washed and straightened my hair and was able to see the complete botched job done on my hair. My hair was hacked at and the colour was horrendous and unblended with harsh lines.
Contacted salon and was offered a partial refund.
Would not recommend and would never go back
Went to another hairdressing salon to have it fixed and they couldn’t believe how bad it was!
Reply says they don’t have me in the system.
Hilarious- because Milly refunded me after botching my hair- also video of my hair is still on your Instagram? Please don’t lie!

Lauren Jones Couldn’t be happier with my experience and the result I got at Salon Milly Rose. I had a rough idea of what I wanted but Milly completely ran with it and delivered something even better than I could have imagined. The whole team are super friendly and helpful and the communication throughout the service was excellent. They also didn’t try and push any of their salon products on to me which I appreciate! Emilie Johnston I had my first appointment at Salon Milly Rose today and the experience was amazing. Milly is a fabulous hairdresser, who is welcoming and bubbly by nature, and the most down to earth person to chat to. I am so incredibly happy with my hair - looks and feels healthy and exactly how I wanted it thanks to Milly’s great customer service and hard work ❤️ The rest of the staff is equally lovely, and friendly. The overall experience was great. Can’t wait to be back.

Paige Unitt Update-
After a phone call with Milly, I was sent some product which after I said I didn’t post my review to try and get free stuff out of them she insisted and I said yes and I am thankful for it. She did also offer to fix the colour again but as stated in the owner response I did decline as my hair is extremely damaged from the service and won’t survive another lightening. I am seeing a lot of really good reviews from people being posted, and I’m glad they have all found a safe place in the salon but Unfortunately my experience just wasn’t the same.
I did toss up between posting a review or not. I had some positives to say about my experience, but every day I am finding more and more things wrong with my colour and I don’t want this to happen to other girls.
I came in after seeing Milly’s TikTok account and falling in love with the work. I then came across another stylist’s page from the salon and booked in with her. Unfortunately, the consult left me feeling a little bit nervous as soon as I said I was happy to pay for any extra treatments or bonding systems and this was met with a nod and immediately started foiling.
I booked for a full head/ balayage, something that they seem to specialise in based off their socials. Now, I did mention that I have had a lot of hairdressers in the past skip through the back of my head as I have thick hair, and have had hairdressers make comments on my hair thickness and how it is to deal with etc. when I tie my hair up, it is the same colour as what my hair was before, with some blonde bits on the very very ends.
When i had the first side of my foils rinsed, i was asked to sit in the basin until the other side of my foils were ready to be rinsed. Approximately an hour. I ended up being moved back over to the chair by Milly’s mum which I was thankful for.
I kept being told that the colour was going to look “different” than my inspo pics. I kept asking if I could get an idea of what this meant, even asking her to show me what toner was being used in my hair on a colour chart, I was, in short, told no and that it was difficult to show.
I also asked for one of the bouncy blow dries that are on their socials, it was stunning and she did do a fabulous job with it.
When I went to the counter to pay, I noticed in the mirror one side of my face frame was thicker and brighter then the other side by quite a bit. She did offer to fix it and I am thankful that she took the time to do this, but it was one of the things that I have found over the last few days to not be even.
The next morning I woke up and my blow dry had settled, I started to notice the inconsistencies in the blend, one side was blended higher then the other, one side was blended slightly better then the other, around my hairline there were bits that had been missed, and all underneath my hair was still dark.
I will note, I came in with an old toner through my hair, with previously lightened hair through my ends so I was expecting dryness and to not get as bright as she got the pieces she did lighten. My inspo photos I did say I understood the fact that we may not get as light and that I was more after the look of the inspo pics, so the foil placement. I also showed a video off of her instagram that she had done herself. I do wish she would have told me if she wasn’t confident, or if she didn’t have time as I have thicker hair.
I emailed the team and I explained as I live an hour or so away and have a busy schedule, coming back wasn’t really an option and that I did prefer a refund. They did accept it, and apologised which is why I am giving them two stars instead of one.
