Patrick Phillips What a wonderful little park here in Gordon. I had dropped my wife off at the station as buses had replaced trains. I then had the chance to explore Gordon and the old houses. I knew they were old but I discovered they were built back around 1910. Back to the park. Well maintained, above average toilets and plenty of happy dog walkers. Even a tennis court.

Doris Wang Safe, suitable for young babies who can use the swing. Other climbing ropes are suitable for older kids. Easy street parking for 2 hours or unlimited.

Michael Bortolotti Nice playground. Quite a bit of equipment. Really big rope climbing installation plus a small slide and a few swings. All in really good condition. Toilets are not great but being renovated as of December 2022.

Dhiraj Kumar Masodgi Located right next to Gordon station. 4 tennis courts. The carpet is good but the ball looses bounce and slow down after hitting the deck. It’s kind of slow but very much playable. I didn’t see a drinking water fountain but a tap is located might be for watering the plants. Not sure if it’s drinkable water.

Simon Johnson Great playground for a variety of ages. Fully enclosed for safety and lots of child friendly surfaces. It’s right next to the tennis courts and my little guy loves watching after a play on the equipment. Very close to Gordon Station and lots of street parking.

Scott Kay Best flying fox that both a 3.5 to and a 36yo can use with safety and fun. Older style playground equipment is fine. Well be back

Oliver Descoeudres Nice oval, with a cricket pitch / goal posts (depending on the season) and a small playground including a flying fox. Theres a bush track that runs behind the oval (from the end of Mt Ida Street to Warandoo St) thats suitable for mountain bikes.

Adam Smith Tucked away in leafy Gordon, this oval is situated between suburban residences and bushland. Access is easy and there is easy entry for Prams and mobility devices. Street parking is available in close proximity along a leafy residential street. The park starts with some bench seating along the top in close proximity to a zipline and play ground. The playground is relatively small (with a slide, swing and a couple of other items of equipment). There could be more playground equipment here to cater for a larger age group of children. There are public toilets in close proximity along the side of the oval. One minor let down is there are no bbq facilities. The oval enables a couple of basic playing fields which is marked out for soccer with soccer goals in place in the winter. It can easily be converted for cricket in the summer or other ball sports in the winter. Overall a great little multi use space.

Dimitri stangl Our local little playground. Large oval where competitive helicopter parents send their little ones into battle. Only downside, the oval is also a dog park, and there is an unfenced playground as well. There are signs that no dogs are allowed on the playground. The problem is, the dogs can read English, and dog owners are not among the higher IQ spheres, or known for their consideration of others. Meaning, dogs do run into the playground, followed by the owner saying something like " he never did this before".
