Vivian Xiao A great recreational area with nice lake views where you can walk your dog and get close to the nature. It is part of a larger open space system contributing to the Monterey reserves and wetlands and is subject to the redevelopment under Bayside Council. Walking is not recommended on wet days as the footpath along the lake is not well constructed. The creek expands further to Rockdale Bicentennial Park in the north.

Jessica Robinson Nice place for a walk or bike ride. Quite a few paths to follow next to the water and through some scrub and trees. There is also some birdlife to observe and even horses close to Ramsgate. So sad the tennis courts have become abandoned. Looks like they are upgrading the area between Rockdale and Ramsgate, very excited to see what it becomes.

Lesley Mott I have emailed Bayside Council to ask for remedial work be carried out to expand the concrete apron to improve access to the external and internal gates and remedial work to fill the pool area and dips. I sent this because of the pools of water at the gates that we would have had to wade in and out to use the park after the recent rains and also to have the pool area filled in. Lots of feet and paws in and out at our well used park, means it needs a bit of TLC.

Mark Nguyen We went there again, which it wasnt our first time (that photo was almost a year), and it was very nice to see jacarandas, and the weather looks super nice today that we actually played badminton in a basketball court for almost an hour. The toliets were open and available. There was also a ping pong or table tennis set at the corner of the basketball court, and there was a weird but interesting silver sphere when you came in and saw that in front of you. So anyway, we had a nice time there again to see them blooming.

Red•Lily Beautiful jacarandas bloom in the park, which has basketball courts, childrens playgrounds, drinking facilities and clean toilets.

Carolina Zajc Visiting this park during the jacarandas flowering season is an absolute feast for the eyes, with rows of these stunning trees creating a vibrant purple canopy. Thoughtfully designed, the park offers well-maintained toilet facilities and a decent kids playground. Its a great blend of natural beauty and practical amenities. However, do plan for a bit of a walk, as parking is limited to on-street, which can be a challenge to find during peak hours. Despite this, the stroll is well worth the effort to experience.
