Christie Deadman I took my almost 2 year old daughter for her first ever haircut yesterday and we had a fantastic experience! Jena was friendly and made a genuine effort to make myself and my daughter comfortable. She was kind, professional, fun and easy to get along with. My daughter was so calm and relaxed the whole time! Jena made what could have been a stressful experience into an effortless and enjoyable one! Her hair looks great and it was overall a fabulous experience. I will be coming back for my daughter next time and I cant wait to book myself in too! Highly, highly recommend!

I feel blonde can be a difficult colour to perfect but Jena does a great job every time. Jena is hardworking, efficient and nothing is ever a problem. Danielle Papakostas I had the new Qiqi straightening treatment done by Jena on Friday and I am so impressed. To go out today, I blow dried it in 2min, then another 2min to lightly go over with the straightener and done! My hair is so much more manageable now which makes a huge difference in my every day. Joanne Naika I had the straight up treatment done in April and my hair is much more manageable now. I can even leave it wet and when it dries naturally it does not go frizzy. This was a great treatment for my recent trip to fiji. No humidity frizz and with all the swimming still so easy to manage. Would definitely recommend Jena and the straight up treatment. Also the Juuce colour conditioning treatment worked so well in my daughters hair for The Biggest morning Tea

Max G They overbook themselves, or they let people walk in without an appointment. The wait times are horrible and since they overbook themselves or double book people you probably won’t get everything you booked in for. If you have a 11am appointment don’t be surprised if you don’t get seated until 12. Unsure about other people’s experiences but doesn’t seem like the best place to entrust your looks to.

Jenna Oddie Highly recommend Celtic Rootz. Always have an excellent experience, whether it is an amazing colour and style for me or a trim for the kids. All staff are welcoming and friendly.

Ally Not very happy (actually very upset) with my recent occassion of foils which were placed over already blonde lengths and has over processed my hair and made my hair start to snap off. There is nothing that can be done to fix this apart from me trying to mitigate the damage with treatments and ultimately having my hair cut short. I wont be back!

Vicki OConnor I took my 88 yr old father for a haircut and was disgusted at the rough treatment he received. Older people need respect, kindness, and time which clearly he didn’t have. Even though there was no one waiting in the middle of a weekday. All the chairs had hair on them not wiped down. Cost of $40 for a pensioner and yes we only take CASH or transfer. Will be going to ladies hairdresser next door in future.

Paul Mourad Should be called Bangor Butcher Shop. I told the barber how I wanted my hair cut, he took those instructions and threw them in the bin, then shaved my hair how he felt like cutting it. Mind you, I didnt ask for anything complicated, just a fade on the sides and trim on the top. After seeing that I was visibly baffled and confused he tried to convince me it was the only thing he could do? Ive never seen a barber so incompetent that he felt the need to justify his poor quality of work by blaming the customer. To top it off, the most expensive cut Ive ever had. I also had to blend the sides with the top myself at home because apparently that was too difficult for him to do. Spare yourself the pain and money, dont go here unless you really do want the worst haircut experience you could imagine...

Jude Mendez I went to this barber after not being to a barber in 6 years as I had been growing my hair out. I used to visit this barber back in the day and I have had good experiences with the owner and some of the other barbers. I asked to get my beard lined up and to cut it to about a 3-4. The barber proceeds to tell me that he cannot shave it to a 3 or 4 or I wont have any hair. I found this comment wild as I have been cutting and trimming my beard for years and a 3-4 is the length that I rock daily. The barber proceeded to line up my neck line and sharpen my sides. When asked if I "liked" it, I noticed that there was still patches of hair left underneath my neck line. I went to pay and the barber proceeded to tell me that he only took cash. I didnt have cash on me, so he rolled his eyes and told me to direct transfer him through BSB as he didnt have an EFTPOS machine. After transferring him $25 for an absolute joke of a beard trim, he proceeded to tell me that I hadnt actually sent the money. After trying to prove it to him 3 times, he was finally happy. Will NOT be returning to this place ever again.

Daniel Burgess The worst hair cut I’ve ever gotten. I asked for a fade and was given a bowl cut. These guys have been cutting hair for a long time and have either lost interest in their work or just suck. On top of that I was charged 38 bucks!!!! If I could rate less than one star I would. Avoid this business.
