Anne Dunn Great place for kids birthday parties. Totally recommend. Bring bikes and scooters. BBQ and toilet facilities. Bring your own shade for sunny days.

Lily Godfrey I had high hopes for Lionel Watts Dog Park after hearing great things, but unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing—mainly due to the attitude of some of the other dog owners. While the park itself is a great space for dogs to run and play, the unwelcoming atmosphere created by certain individuals has made visits less enjoyable. A man rudely approached me about picking up after my dog, assuming I had purposely ignored it when I simply hadn’t seen her go. I always clean up after my dog, so his tone was completely unnecessary. Another time, a woman told me I had to refill the water bowl after my dog drank because “the oldies get annoyed.” While my dog did have a big drink, the bowl was far from empty. Ironically, when we left today, the bowl was almost completely dry—yet no one seemed concerned then. Ive been to plenty of other dog parks where this was never an issue, and it just felt like unnecessary nitpicking. It’s frustrating when a community space meant for enjoyment becomes stressful because of a few overly rigid and unkind individuals. If you’re looking for a more welcoming dog park, I’d suggest exploring other options first.

U Great park. Synthetic and grass fields. Facilities and small coffee shop on site. Plenty of parking. Seems to be well maintained grounds and theyre organised even with multiple sports going on (you can listen for announcements on whats starting where).

Bruno Barthas Lovely playground with new and well designed infrastructures. Flying fox, swings, slides, a lot to do for the kids. There is public toilets, shade and a lot of places to seat a relax. Also for the parents there is a little mobile coffee shop. Its right next to a dog park. Perfect for evderyone.

Chantelle Phee The walk to Bluff Lookout is easy though unstable rocky ground so not accessible for some. Was a pretty spot and nice walk. Would go back to do other tracks when I have more time. There is bike only tracks in this area too.

1m 1r Playable, but mostly sandy ground with almost no grass, green or any other colour. All else is actually very good - water bubbler, water tap, even the shed/building.

Mark Titley Went to their Eurofest festival here. Great way for them to raise money for the local community. The food stalls were great, the beer offering was a bit limited and due to the councils ban on single use plastic bottles it was impossible to buy water. Otherwise good.

Ana Divin Single soccer field with plenty of parking, but the field is often shut as a little bad weather results in this field being waterlogged. (Its literally one giant ditch.)

Chris Nice space but not fenced and small kids playground

Paula Sturrock Parking great but would like to more seating and shade handy for summer and upgrade similar to other parks in the area.

Angus Roxburgh Its pretty basic park needs better play equipment. It would be really appreciated if the park become more child friendly with lots of play equipment for them. This would allow local families to stay local rather than drive up to the park on near belrose shops. It would also benifits the shop with familys purchasing snacks and coffees etc.

Alex Caputo great park for the kids. some fencing would be good though
