Mihye Kwon I walked the tail on the weekend. It was quiet but not much to see compare to nearby trails.

C M Absolutely beautiful little pocket of bushland! I parked near the Leisure centre, made my way down the walking track and down to Mortlock reserve and then back up again. Not too crowded and lots of puppies encountered along the way! So peaceful and serene

david mitchell Fantastic walking track through to Tunks Park and the Harbour I walked the track up from Tunks Park and continued through to Artarmon. There are two crossings of the creek and the lower crossimg may require taking ones shoes off as some of the stepping stones may be submerged.

Wayne Kosh Wilksch Walk is a wonderful bushwalk that takes you through remnant bushland with a wide variety of native fauna and flora. The destructive NSW Government plans to destroy and dig up this entire area for a dive site for the useless Beaches Link project. This dive site will kill a lot of native animals and dig up contaminated rubbish that was buried there when the site was a rubbish tip prior to the 1970s. Let the NSW Government this dive site should not go ahead in this beautiful area.

Karina Wong Such a pleasant trail. Enjoy the tranquility of the sounds from the creek and birds.

steaks beer Flat Rock Gully and the Wilksch Walk is definitely not an easy walk, it has a lot of carved steps and bush rock to climb and descend over. While there’s a number of paths, as long as you stay along the creek you will find your way in or out okay. You will have mobile phone reception throughout as this bush walk is still very close to homes. There are plenty of places to slip and fall so decent footwear is recommended, especially if it rains or has just rained. There is a small waterfall where the drop is a few metres (it sort of cascades down through the rocks), nice place to sit and take a break but I wouldn’t want to fall off it. So surprising to find a place like this in the middle of suburbia.

C F Great little park for small kids. It is a pity that there is no path to it.

Daniel Dertat The walk from Willoughby to Northbridge was the perfect lockdown discovery. Have continued walking the track in 2022.

Mark Steele Such a diverse walk, nestled amongst semi rainforest, and suburbia, this short walk can be extended at low tides or not. Moss covered rocks, waterfalls, huge overhanging caves to explore, and a tidal mangrove flat.
4 /5
Maki Okamoto An easy but nice bushwalking track along a creek. You can hear lots of birds singing like Kookaburra, Fairywren, Thornbill, and Whipbird. If you are lucky, you can meet Lyrebird. I saw a male Lyerbird digging leaves, bathing in the creek, climbing a branch, and singing!

nswtrip Apinya Nice walking track. Beautiful nature. I found blue mushrooms and red mushrooms.
5 /5
Kathy Williams Beautiful walking track with lots of variety. Wear suitable shoes as slippery and uneven in parts, stairs with few handrails. Would love to return after heavy rain to see the waterfalls really pumping!

Theresa Dunne Beautiful walk, very scenic, however challenging going down the steps

Pooi Nie Liew A great find - lovely quiet playground that we took our grand daughter to after school one day. Was so green & peaceful, with lots of birdlife & a very curious Kookaburra. The flying fox was great fun, & there was a creek nearby. Huge climbing frame which was lots of fun & there were a few swings too, plus a few simple musical features included such as a Xylophone & Drums. We’ll certainly go back! The Council are developing the land opposite into a community garden which will be even more appealing once finished.

Fluffy Corn Beautiful little park, very natural. There are a lot of turkeys roaming around which I find cute. However the metal drums are very loud and can be heard from quite far away.
3 /5
Don R Very nice park with barbecue facilities. Short bush walking from Park including small stream. Very natural setting with brush turkey running through the bushes. Couldnt see any public toilets so loses one star.
4 /5
Dave Millar This place is currently pretty run down and been affected by the rain (May 2022). The swings don’t exist, the climbing frame is roped off. And the flying fox ground is totally sodden. Hopefully it gets better soon.
