Mel Mac I moved to the area not long ago and was looking for a new hairdresser. I looked at all the local hairdressers and their reviews. Michael and his team had excellent reviews so I thought I would try it out. I have now been twice and the reviews live up to their expectations. The staff consult with each other about the process of making sure the color is correct for the client before they make the final decision. The team are all very friendly, make you feel welcome and provide exceptional service. Fiona does an amazing job and my friends comment on my colour and how good my hair looks. Michael is always so welcoming and ruby is also a great girl that even went to pick up my dinner for me.

Amanda Woods Iryna is one of the most highly skilled colourist you will find. She is often called upon by large companies to assit with the training of new products etc. Iryna is also a very talented stylist and always listens to what style youre trying achieve. If you are unsure as to what style will suit you she will discuss your best options to suit your face shape and your lifestyle. The salon is personal and Iryna is a lovely person, I highly reccommend her services. You wont be disappointed. Amanda

Laura Griffin Irynas been my only hairdresser for the last 13 years - shes amazing. She does a beautiful job on my colour (blonde), and cut, and is really affordable especially given how long my hair is! Would highly recommend a visit. Shes also hilarious. :)

Dilshaad Sathar I have absolutely loved the service here. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I’ve had my hair cut by Mohammed twice and it’s been one of the best haircuts I’ve had. He’s very meticulous and will suggest tailored cuts to suit your style and head shape. I feel comfortable trusting him cutting my hair as his attention to detail is fantastic and it is evident by the fact your hair still looks good several weeks after the cut.

David Kingston I have been a client of Michaels for 10 years, and not only is he excellent with hair, he is such a pleasure to talk with that its like meeting up with an old friend. He is also incredibly knowledgeable about beauty products and their ingredients and has his own line of natural / organic high end moisturizers, shampoos, conditioners and more. The atmosphere of the hair salon is like that of an art gallery, nicely spaced and relaxing without any posters or product advertisements, unlike many cluttered modern hair salons. Highly recommended!

Sandy LT Has Michael Edwin Hair design closed? I have tried ringing the landline and its been disconnected and when I try the mobile number its not answered. Ive been trying off and on to contact them for a few days now. Does anyone know what is going on with this business, I can only presume he has closed shop??

EJ I always enjoy coming to Michael and would reccomend anyone to go to Michaels salon. He always is a great person to talk to and has a real sense of style. He makes his own skin care, shampoo, conditioner and even hair straightener! The room is so clean and beautifully minimilistic- like an art gallery, unlike other salons that look so cluttery. His approach is what I believe in- focusing on one client at a time and not making anyone sit on the chair longer than necessary- with results leaving me always very happy.

Shopper Tracey The staff are nice but that does not make up for the poor haircut. I had a picture for the hairdresser to copy, couldnt get much easier! I paid for the "principle stylist" and still ended up with one side longer than the other. I will not return and I do not recommend.

Tanya Scaife I was lucky enough to stumble upon this salon and I cannot recommend it enough. All of the stylists are lovely and attentive and I got the BEST bob cut ever. I have wavy hair that is quite thick so it’s always a little risky to do as I’ve found most are used to doing it to straight hair. I felt safe in the hands of Maria, she is clearly very experienced in her field and invests time to teach her team too. She took time to tailor the cut to my features and hair texture. I will definitely be back.
