As noted in the meeting requested by Janice, we had already obtained independent legal advice prior to that discussion, and we have since sought further advice following it. All steps requested of us have been completed.
I have only sought information directly relevant to the administration of the estate, and all enquiries have been made in accordance with independent legal advice. It is therefore inaccurate to characterise this as ‘demanding contact.’
These enquiries are made solely to clarify and progress matters relevant to the administration of the estate, particularly where no action or update has been provided.
As a beneficiary, I am entitled to request relevant information, and the Executor has a legal duty to act in a timely, transparent, and proper manner in administering the estate.

I have been dealing with this firm in relation to my late mother’s Will. Unfortunately, my experience with Janice and her team has been unnecessarily stressful and disappointing.
I was given conflicting information on several occasions and had to seek clarification multiple times, as details provided were inconsistent. When I requested to sight an important document relevant to the Estate, I was advised it was “lost.” On another occasion, after other professional stakeholders confirmed information provided by Janice to be incorrect, I felt I was treated disrespectfully when I raised my concerns.
After attending a meeting on 22 July, which I was told was “urgent,” I was advised that I would receive paperwork by the end of that week. Despite sending three follow-up emails over the next month, I have not received a reply with the promised documents or any further communication as to the outcomes discussed.
At such a difficult time, I found communication lacking and the process made harder rather than easier. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this firm for Wills or Estate matters.
