1 /5 Deborah Pearson: Terrible experience. Took over 2 yrs to serve the defendant. During this time communication from the legal team was sporadic with months of no contact or progress.
Legal team had been notified by me several times that defendant keeps his gate(s) chained and padlocked 24/7. This information was not passed on to the company attempting to serve, thus approximately seven attempts were made without success. Other errors included twice having my address incorrect, and (without evidence) incorrectly claiming that defendant no longer resided at his address. When these errors were mentioned, the Legal Team ceased representing me, and are refusing to release my files, citing my contact with the Small Business Commission.
I have been incorrectly charged for time and services. I am now out of money, and unable to proceed. This should have been a simple case whereby the defendant owed me in excess of $11k in unpaid rent. I have invoices and rental paperwork as proof.
Katherine Hawes, Principal, is a friend of my sister. If this is how someone would treat a friends’ sister, I shudder to think how others would be treated. So much for Justice ☹
