I had positive initial interactions and decided to lodge my tax return with them. Unfortunately, what followed was a pretty lousy and frustrating experience overall, at a high price point.
Communication was never proactive, with me having to chase up everything from emails that never got replied to, to phone calls that were promised and never eventuated. Without notice, I was passed along to 3 different accountants due to poor staff management. This was incredibly frustrating experience and totally preventable. While I completely understand that mistakes happen in life, it is how they are managed that really matters.
So if you find yourself in an unfortunate situation where mistakes have happened, unfortunately, it has been my experience that you do not receive client-centred resolutions. I was shocked to discover, that, again without any prior communication, I was quoted the most exorbitant cost for this tax return, way above what I have ever paid in the past, for what the most incompetent and frustrating taxation experience I have ever had.
Overall, I did feel a general sense of laziness and disinterest towards my tax return throughout the whole experience.
