1 /5 Leo Greyling: After arriving to today (27/01/23) it took an hour and a half to be served even though I was first in line upon my arrival. Several people who arrived after me simply left due to the wait, stating that “St Ives or Hornsby have me in and out within 10-15 min, it’ll be quicker to leave and go there instead”. The only working pathologist today has only been working for 2 and a half months which leaves me questioning their management and if they’re capable of allocating the appropriate Human Resources in order to safely and efficiently work though patients. John (the working pathologist) was very friendly and did his job well (despite being very slow.) I understand these places are short staffed but with their current resources they simply shouldn’t allow walk ins and should require patients to make appointments. Iv been getting blood tests fortnightly for 7 years now, this was the worst experience iv had so far which prompted me to warn others about this establishment.

5 /5 Georgia May: I visited here on 19/4/22 for my pregnancy GTT and was really impressed with the care provided by the staff member completing my test as well as others working at the time. They were efficient, made me comfortable and checked in regularly. Lovely quiet and clean environment too.

1 /5 Asim Pandey: The staff doesnt want to listen at all. I work in aged care and I call Douglas (North Turramurra branch) to collect specimen samples of our residents. This afternoon my phone was picked up by a staff named Richard. I tried to explain to him and provide a proper phone number so that his time is not wasted when he arrives to pick up the specimen, however, the staff does not want to listen at all. I have never seen/spoken with such a person who wants to hang up that quick without getting a full message. Instead of listening to full instructions, he says that “Youre being a smart boy aren’t you” in a very rude and confronting manner. Richard being an Allied health care team member speaking in such way is really saddening and unprofessional. I shared my experience with my other work colleagues and they also expressed of similar experience. Douglas should really provide training to their staff to speak in a polite manner while speaking with their customers. And a person like Richard who is working close to the telephone should have active listening skills and be patient.
