1 /5 Katie Lau: I engaged financial spectrum based on the 5 star reviews but my experience did not reflect that. The advice was not encompassing. There were key aspects that I had to raise to my advisor about and was not discussed until I brought it up. I had escalated my concerns to the director, Brenton, but he did not respond directly to my concerns. His advisor suggested I could work with him as an option as an alternative option to getting a refund, but his lack of involvement in the issue made me reconsider and I ultimately decided against it. If he wasn’t involved in my issue, how would I expect him to be attentive to my engagement?
When I ended the engagement, there was no professional closure. I only received an admin email about my money back refund. While I received a refund, which I expect to be the bare minimum, I am writing this so others do not get blindsided by the inflated reviews. For the discerning client who expects tailored and transparent advice, please reconsider.
