Richard Peyton We were very lucky to have been directed to Chris Nothling as a specialist who could assist us negotiate the many complexities and pitfalls associated with difficult and emotional task of entering our mother into the Aged Care system. Chris was very personable, thorough, clear in explanation, and modelled some options that enabled us to adopt the most suitable direction. He was also very agreeable to collaborating with Mum’s own Financial Advisor in the process. We were particularly relieved to learn that the Alteris team could then implement the majority of our plan by navigating the requirements of the many Government agencies involved in the process. This was certainly a weight off our shoulders. We will certainly recommend Chris to anyone looking to enter a loved one into Aged Care. Some 4 years after writing the above review I can honestly say that Alteris have carried on the great work! Following implementation of the developed plan, we further engaged Alteris Lifetime Serive Offer to act as our Nominee to liaise with the various Government Agencies and the Aged Care Facility to ensure that the relevant charges were applied correctly. This followed the submission to Alteris, on a quarterly basis, financial updates of our Mothers assets. The various Alteris agents we liased with over the 4 years always acted with diligence and professionalism. I cannot emphasise enough how this liaison helped us with the navigation of such a complex area!

Colin Harrison Honestly, I never thought I would need/want a Financial Advisor. I dont consider myself a financial high-flyer and I come with a resonable amount of suspicion regarding people who work in finance in general - a domain that I have almost no interest in, and certainly dont understand. Omarr has changed my whole perception. He is a friendly and attentive professional, genuinely interested in his clients, and is good at explaining things. He not only responded to my vague initial contact, but quickly understood my situation, my priorities and my degree of interest/understanding, and adapted his approach accordingly, neither overwhelming me with confusing detail, nor treating me like an idiot. Once engaged, he was easily contactable, gave his time generously, and did everything he undertook to do in a timely manner. He even offered advice about things I would never have thought of, and that I had not asked about, but that he realised I could benefit from. He inspires confidence and has definitely earnt my trust and indeed my fidelity as a client. In case its not obvious, I recommend him highly!
