Zachariah Constantinou Mortgage Broker - NSW

Chris MacFarlane There are brokers and then there is Zac. Zac reached out after I hit an Advert button on Insta for Shore Finance. I had spoken to a couple of banks and another broker and was curious to see what they might have to say about our financial position to borrow. From the moment Zac rang he showed positive intent in understanding our reasons for the loan and was happy to not only run the numbers for 1 situation but also ran the numbers for a 2nd situation which no one else had offered to do. Zac is an absolute professional, he loves his work and it shines through in his commitment to turn around times, timeliness and promptness in all communication and a willingness to go the extra step to help achieve what others told us was impossible. I loved Zac’s determination, his grit, his ability to be flexible and he met all our financial goals. In addition we worked extremely hard with Zac to give Zac everything he needed to be successful on our behalf. I have no hesitation in recommending Zac and we will continue to reach out to Zac for future opportunities. Thank you Zac, your support from Day 1 has been steadfast, absolutely tremendous and greatly appreciated! Chris.

Westside Car City - NSW

T J The owner is easy to deal with, when you walk in it’s a happy face to greet you. Well priced cars, not greedy like some others. Cars seem like they are good quality and if I have an issue they are quick to help. For a local trustworthy car yard it gets my 5 stars. Note, A bit hard to find at first, but once you are at the United servo, it’s conveniently located at the back of that. Hope your experience was a good as mine.

Origin Finance - Oakleigh - NSW

kazanas christos Avoid at All Costs! Got sent to Jim (owner of Origin Finance Oakleigh) by a mate because he speaks Greek. Apparently, that was supposed to make sorting my car finance easier. Yeah, nah. The only thing speaking Greek did was turn this disaster into a Greek tragedy—without the gods to save me. Picked out my car on the 25th of February, sent Jim everything he asked for straight away. My credit’s solid, I run a business, and this should’ve been approved in a week, tops. But Jim? Jim operates in reverse dog years or some mystical time zone the rest of us don’t understand. First thing he told me? “Won’t take more than a week or so.” Yeah, right. That was a month ago. Had to keep chasing him because every time I called for an update (which I shouldn’t have had to do in the first place), he was “busy” and promised to call me back. Never happened. If I had a dollar for every time Jim said he’d call me back, I wouldn’t have needed the finance in the first place. Instead of asking for all the documents upfront like a normal person, Jim kept coming back every single day with a new request. Always had an excuse: • Blamed the finance company. • Blamed his rep. • Blamed the loan assessor. • Blamed my accountant. • Blamed the alignment of the planets, for all I know. At some point, I was just waiting for him to tell me it was my fault for being born under the wrong star sign. For two weeks straight, he told me I’d be picking up my car “tomorrow.” Instead, it was always some new surprise, some mysterious issue, some document he magically forgot to mention at the start. The only thing less reliable than Jim’s timelines is Melbourne weather. And the best part? After waiting a full month, Jim sends an email saying: “Just to give you an update on where we are at with this file. I am no longer prepared to work on this file due to the constant calls/text messages/disrespect that this has gone through.” Are you joking? Mate, the only “disrespect” here is wasting an entire month of my time and then dumping the file like it’s my fault for expecting him to actually do his job. And just to rub salt in the wound? He made me get insurance while I was still waiting. Paid for two weeks of insurance on a car I didn’t even have yet. Basically paying rent on an imaginary vehicle. I’ve got all the screenshots to prove it. If anyone wants a laugh, hit me up. Apparently, I can’t post them because they contain “personal information.” But in reality, the only personal thing about this is the headache Jim gave me. Bottom Line If you need car finance, do yourself a favour and go literally anywhere else. Oh, and Jim, mate, if you’re reading this—maybe spend less time playing hide and seek with your clients and more time actually getting things done. Or at least take a few courses in lying convincingly, because “tomorrow” clearly isn’t your strong suit.

Md Abdur Rahim Molla Kamal at Right Step Finance is very professional. He went beyond his ability to help us with our first home. We got the lowest rate available in the market as expected. He is easily accessible and very knowledgeable. Furthermore, an outstanding and highly ethical mortgage broker. I think it is vital to emphasise just how ethical and professional he is. Very happy with his services. He is very responsive, transparent, patient and explained our options well so we were able to make the best decision for our circumstances.
