It took us 8 months, over 50 phones calls and constant nagging to receive a refund of $1500 owed to us from a bond we had place on accommodation.
Every phone call, the operator stated they had escalated the issue to their finance team, however no progress was made.
We were told the refund was process early February 2020, however never went into our account.
We were then told that they process refunds at the end of the month, however never went into our account.
we called every week to follow up on the progress of the situation, but we were constantly told the matter was with there finance department and they are waiting for a response.
We were then told it was process on the 11th of May, but never went into our account AGAIN.
We were then advised it was definitely processed on the 27th of May and the same day only hours later it was in our account.
8 months of waiting and constant phone calls going back and forth, being told it was processed 3 times, and finally it takes 1 day for the money to hit our account once it was ACTUALLY process.
Not sure if we were lied to for 8 months but it was a disgrace, and we will never deal with Lombard finance again.
