A tennis bracelet bought for my mums 60th (1500$) has broken twice in 6 months and all Michael hill Chatswood want is to give the ‘fixed’ bracelet back and said ‘try again’ to offload the blame of poor made jewellery. Appalling behaviour from the staff I would not recommend them to anyone. 1500$ is not a cheap item. My mum has worn bracelets every day for years and none have ever had any issues, but this has broken twice in 6 months. Chatswood Michael hill have been playing phone tag with me regarding this issue and want my mum to wear the bracelet and are hoping it brakes off again and is lost. I never requested money back, I requested a store credit so I can get something else that is better made. However I am now going to request money back and if not will be submitting a formal complaint to fair trading which has been drafted.

I didn’t hear back for two months, so I went to the store to ask about it. After a long search (40 minutes), it turned out they had just resized the original ring: they removed the gold but didn’t replace the diamond. In the end, I received a lighter, lower-value ring.

I purchased 1 diamond bracelet and 1 diamond ring on my BD 19.01.2025, after that I have to come back 1 to fixed the bracelet because its too lose on the hook of the strap. I went to lunch with my friends on April 2025, a shake hand can make the bracelet fell a part. I felt so embarrassed. Peoples look at me like its a second hand or cheap bracelet. I went back again to asked them to refund they only can swap another bracelet for me. And now they started to show a sign lose at the strap again. Honestly, stay away from this branch. This is ridiculous. This is a big scam from the seller. I also file a form to report them on FT

5 /5 Sam: Mikey was very passionate and knowledgeable when I dropped in to buy my wife some earrings. He also gave my wedding ring a polish (also MH) on the spot too after he’d seen it was quite worn. Great customer service and experience.
