5 /5 Life AtBlk43: the studio is really nice and strategically located in Victoria Plaza, just a 10 min walk from the train station. It is clean, minimal, and well thought out, they even have a dressing room and plenty of cabinets/drawers for your things. just remember to take off your shoes and switch to slippers in the lobby/reception. they are also accommodating to latecomers, i have seen people allowed in even 10 to 15 minutes after class starts. and lastly, for each class max 6 people can join.
Heres my group class instructor review:
• Mei
My very first class here. challenging enough for beginners, and i appreciated how she guided everyone carefully through the poses.
• Nina
Tried her intermediate class and loved the flow. Clear instructions and an energizing session that actually inspired me to get back into Pilates more consistently. would definitely rebook her classes. its classic.
• Taehee
Also an intermediate class, and honestly the most challenging (and my favorite class!) i have had here (and second toughest across all studios i have tried in Chatswood). Her stretches are intense, and she motivates you to push yourself while giving clear modifications. I joined three of her classes, and every time the whole group left tired but satisfied.
• Hazel
Tried both beginner and intermediate with her. Very beginner friendly and balanced. she has clear instructions, checks everyone’s form proactively, and i love the pacing of her sessions from warm up to cool down. she focuses a lot in the control and breathing technique
• Neelofar
Probably the only non Asian instructor i had here. She cues calmly, with crisp instructions and just right pacing. her class focuses in the control and breathing. she actively corrects poses, and i would have made her classes a Saturday habit if I had stayed for long in Chatswood.
• Scarlett
Joined her beginner class, though it felt quite challenging. she included long and short spine, which i love, but it might be tough for absolute beginners. she is very helpful with corrections though, which makes it manageable.
• Judy
Booked multiple intermediate sessions with her (around 3 to 4). lot of hip focused work, and she moves around to guide and adjust postures. some of her instructions took me a while to get used to, but the more i attended, the more i appreciated her style.
this is probably the best Pilates studio in Chatswood. great location, clean facilities, and a solid lineup of instructors with different strengths.
