1 /5 Cameron Scott: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Slater and Gordon. From the outset, they promised exceptional service and results, assuring me they would go above and beyond to handle my case. Unfortunately, these were empty promises, and all I received was a hefty bill for subpar service.
Not only did they fail to deliver on their grandiose commitments, but the handling of my case was also poorly managed. My assigned lawyer went on annual leave without prior notice, leaving a new lawyer to take over. This new lawyer had to spend considerable time learning my case from scratch, which caused delays and, shockingly, led to additional charges on my bill. These extra costs were entirely due to the firm’s internal scheduling issues, yet I was the one penalized financially.
When I questioned the charges and expressed my frustration, the firm’s response was dismissive, with no effort to address the unfair billing or their failure to meet expectations. The lack of transparency, unprofessionalism, and broken promises have left me deeply dissatisfied. Slater and Gordon overpromised and underdelivered, leaving me with nothing but a bill for their shortcomings.
I strongly advise others to be cautious and clarify billing practices and case management before engaging this firm. I will not be using their services again and cannot recommend them.
