1 /5 Alys Taylor: Went in to get a document notarised by a notary public. They reluctantly agreed to it without me having an appointment (which i was thankful for) and said it would cost. When I asked how much it would cost, my question was ignored as he went about signing. I assumed this meant he would sign without a fee. After signing he told me it would be $198. Had I realised the cost beforehand I would have considered alternative options. I should have known that a sign/stamp from a solicitor would cost more than the $2 that a JP charges. However I wish there had been more transparency around pricing.

Because of the circumstances around this settlement it was quite a difficult case. Universal Law handled the process with great professionalism, expertise, integrity and goodwill.
