After nearly two years of paying for coverage, the first time I actually needed AAMI was when a random driver hit my parked car and fled the scene. I managed to get the car’s registration number and even handed the fault and evidence to the police. Despite this, AAMI refused to help me obtain the driver’s details.
To make things worse, I was forced to pay an excess for an incident that was clearly not my fault, and I wasn’t offered any replacement car either. The customer service was absolutely appalling unhelpful, slow, and dismissive.
Thank you, AAMI, for being the worst insurance provider I’ve ever dealt with. Never again.
