5 /5 Aline Oliveira: I placed an order on Friday through Uber Eats from Castello Restaurant and ordered two pizzas (Margherita and peri peri chicken). I carefully added my address, selected the option to meet at the door, and clearly explained in the delivery notes that I live in the back house, including directions and my phone number in case the driver needed to call.
The estimated delivery time was around 40 minutes, but unfortunately the driver left the pizzas on the front house veranda, where no one is currently living. When the delivery time expired, my husband went outside to check and found the pizzas there, already cold. In addition, the Margherita pizza was missing basil.
At the time, Uber Eats only gave me the option to contact the restaurant directly. I called and was quite stressed, as it was already late. The staff member who answered informed me that the manager would contact me the next day.
Although I was very frustrated and expected no follow-up, I was pleasantly surprised. The next day, the manager Adam called me, was very attentive, listened calmly, took responsibility, and genuinely tried to resolve the situation. As a result, our order was remade and delivered again on Sunday.
Despite the initial inconvenience, I really appreciated the restaurant’s attitude and commitment to customer service. Because of this, I will definitely visit the restaurant in person, not just order delivery. The pizzas are delicious, and it’s clear the establishment is run by serious and professional people.
