I ordered two curries through Uber Eats. I received one. Simple maths, and yet somehow beyond this restaurant’s capability.
When I called to point out the mistake, a staff member named Dhanush openly admitted the error. Great, I thought, they’ll fix it. Wrong. Instead of doing the bare minimum and sending my missing food, Dhanush told me to reorder through Uber Eats and “go through the complaints process.” Let that sink in.
They made the mistake, they acknowledged it, and then they told me to spend more of my time and money to fix their problem.
So Dhanush’s proposed solution was for me to pay for the food again, pay the delivery fee again, pay the service fee again, and then sit around waiting all over again, all because he couldn’t be bothered to rectify an error he freely admitted was theirs. Absolutely disgraceful.
To top it off, they even misprinted the receipt to show only one curry, despite the order clearly stating two. So not only did they short me on the food, they couldn’t even get the paperwork right.
From the kitchen to the front of house, every single person involved in this transaction failed. The chef didn’t check the order. The staff didn’t pack it properly. And Dhanush, who answered my call, had zero interest in customer service, accountability, or basic decency.
This is not a restaurant that values its customers. This is a restaurant that takes your money, delivers half your order, and then shrugs when you call them on it. Utterly unprofessional. Completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone, under any circumstances, for any reason. Save yourself the headache and order literally anywhere else.
