5 /5 Sydney Halal Food Blogger: Tried out MLK Deli at Kogarah Bay and was really impressed with the quality and creativity of the food. It’s a modern deli-style café with a relaxed vibe and great attention to detail in both the sandwiches and the sweets. The Risky Brisket was the highlight – smoky, tender brisket with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and their house sauce, all tucked into rye ciabatta. The side pickle and salt & vinegar chips were a nice touch and made it feel like a proper deli experience. The Deli Sando was packed with flavour too – mortadella, wagyu salami, turkey ham, roasted capsicum and olives all layered perfectly with cheeses and Naomi’s agrodolce for balance. For something lighter, we had the Ham & Cheese Toastie on a soft milk bun and the kids hash browns – simple, crispy, and satisfying. Drinks were on point as well: the strawberry matcha latte was refreshing, the cappuccino smooth, and the hot chocolate rich and comforting. We couldn’t leave without trying some sweets – the macadamia nut cookie was buttery and chewy, while the cinnamon roll focaccia was soft, fragrant and a little different from your usual café pastry. Overall, MLK Deli Kogarah Bay is a fantastic addition to the area. The food feels fresh, premium and well thought out, and it’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to for both casual catch-ups and indulgent brunches. Highly recommended!

5 /5 A: Wow delicious deli sandwiches! The MLK has the softest focaccia I’ve ever had, very spongey and light. We also got the brisket and the serving was very generous. Not many places do halal brisket, but MLK do it so well! Highly recommend. The service was also lovely!
