1 /5 Geoff Coffill: Went to this absolute abortion for a very disappointing Fathers Day Lunch. We were never offered information regarding what fish was available, despite every other patron been given that courtesy. My family and I ordered the haloumi for entree which was $16.50 and all that came was 3 measly pieces of undercooked haloumi and an overabundance of pita bread. We wanted to order the seafood platter - but was told it was not available as you have to pre-order 24 hours in advance, we found this strangely odd given that it was Fathers day but more importantly a Seafood Restaurant. My sister then wanted to order the Lobster Mornay special which was promoted on slips on the table. she was then told it was also unavailable before disappointingly settling for the Lamb Shanks. As we were waiting for our mains - we overheard other patrons being offered the Lobster Mornay special - so we curiously asked another waiter if the Lobster Mornay was available. To our surprise, it was. We asked if we could change to our original request for Lobster Mornay but was told the Lamb shanks had been cooked already. Given that restaurant made a mistake, one would of thought that they would agree to replace the meal regardless, they did not. We then anticipated our mains to be brought out momentarily and ordered the wine to accompany our meal. We then waited 25 minutes, in addition to the time we already had waited for our meals to be served. When our meals arrived we were disappointed with what we found on our plate. My sister ordered the Lamb Pappardelle which was cold and the portion was small - even though the main size was ordered which was an extra $7 on top of the $17.80. The pasta had bones and had foreign objects through it - one of which resembled a Lamb testicle. My father and I ordered the Tempura Fish and Chips which resembled frozen fish I have purchased from Woolworths and was in no way shape or form Tempura batter. My other sister as mentioned before ordered the Lamb shanks and was disappointed with them as they were cold and overcooked. To compensate her, as she was not allowed to have the Lobster they gave her a grass salad with no dressing and some potatoes. Being bitterly disappointed with the service (understaffed), meals and prices, we chose to skip their bought but supposedly home made desserts. Subsequently, we paid over $200 and left. As we were leaving, we noticed another customer, complaining and being yelled at by the chef, who seemingly was very arrogant and annoyed at the womans complaint. As we walked out with the complainant, we asked her, what the chef had said, and in response, she said that he said, "What do you want me to do about it" in a condescending manner - meaning that he was not at all concerned at her complaint. Overall, I would rather eat my own faeces then ever return to this horrid excuse for a restaurant, the only reason this review is 1 star because it is compulsory.
