Blaxland Riverside Park - Sydney Olympic Park (NSW)

5 /5 Arif Faruqui: We actually planned on going to the bicentennial park but changed our plan midway to go to blaxland because of the kids water park and kids area. It was a good call as we got a covered shed with a BBQ pit nearby along with a coal disposal bin and other bins. The kids play area and bathrooms were just nearby like a 1 min walk. The parking was too good as the parking spaces are designated in such a way that the sitting/BBQ areas are again just a 1min walk. Absolutely in love with Blaxland and its facilities. 1st 2 hours parking is free and then a charge of $5/HR applies. I would highly recommend this for people wanting to have a BBQ without any hassles.

5 /5 Raymond Chan: Nice open vibe for running. clean air, peaceful surroundings, and lots of greenery. The ambience is great, but there’s no clearly marked single running route, so you’ll have to freestyle a bit. Still a solid spot if you’re after a refreshing outdoor session.

5 /5 Aris Limiarto: One of my favorite playground in Sydney. They have so many activities here. Definitely will come back to this playground with my kids. They love it very much. They also have bbq section. They have a lot of entrance. Good for exercise and jogging too. The only thing they lack is that the cleanliness of the restroom. They need to do constant cleaning of the restroom. CONCLUSION = RECOMMENDED!!!

4 /5 Ftyn Najiha: Those who live around here knows that Blaxland Riverside Park is a fantastic destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The adventure playground is incredible, with unique climbing structures, slides, swings, and water play areas that kids absolutely adore. There’s also plenty of open space for picnics, shaded seating areas, BBQ facilities, and scenic walking and cycling paths along the Parramatta River. However, one area that could use significant improvement is the toilets. While they are designed to look modern and unique, the lack of proper ventilation is a major issue. The closed design traps odors, and the dampness makes the smell even worse. It’s something that definitely detracts from an otherwise wonderful experience. That said, the park remains a great spot to spend the day with family or friends. If the toilet facilities were upgraded with better ventilation and more modern functionality, it would be close to perfect. Despite this drawback, the park’s other amenities make it well worth visiting!

4 /5 Oz Khan: This is a great park, its pretty big and has a water area, perfect for hot days. Theres two parking spaces, which both lead to the playground. The playground has big slides and climbing frames and a swing which swings side to side. There is also a spinning plate. This playground is near the water play. The water play is great for cooling off. Theres a toilet here And theres a tower. You have to climb(theres steps in it but high ones) to the top, but its worth it They have shades, too, which provide you shelter from the sun There is plenty of space around to play other things They also have long swings and things like that Then you can walk down to the river. By the river, there are toilets, and tables which also have shade. These tables are on the river bank. If you walk down the river, youll get to heritage railway.
