Hermitage Foreshore Reserve - Vaucluse (NSW)

5 /5 John Louie: Truly one of the world’s top 20 walks. Outrageous views of Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge, with racing sailboats, and sandstone with dense foliage. I think Yosemite’s Mist Trail is better than this, but few are.

5 /5 Alyanna Jose: Great walk! Would definitely do again for the great views & the multiple hidden beaches to stop for a swim. Parking wasn’t a mission which is always a plus.

5 /5 JJ F: It’s an ideal foreshore walk in a sunny warm day. Along the walk, there’re 4 beaches Queens, Hermit, Milk and Shark. We enjoyed the swimming in crystal clear water and observing the city skyline. Do you know there’s a great spot for couple photo? It can only fit 2 ppl. I tried to take a picture twice but there is always occupied.

5 /5 John karmas: One of Sydney’s great coastal walks, the easy Hermitage Foreshore track offers up stunning views of Sydney’s harbour, islands and icons. I started at Queens Beach entrance check out Queens Beach taking photos walked to little tangara beach took more photos than to hermitage point beach more photos than to Strickland House and milk beach more photos it was a enjoyable day Be sure to take your camera as there are plenty of photo opportunities along this walk; you’ll be able to see Shark Island, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the grounds of Strickland House along the way. You can start the walk at either Bayview Hill Road or Nielsen Park and whichever way you walk, a stop at Nielsen Park is a way to spend some time. There are gorgeous views to enjoy, lots of grass for spreading out a picnic blanket and the peaceful sounds of birdsong and waves lapping at the shore..

5 /5 Hemal Wickramasinghe: Loved the walk through the reserve! It was so relaxing walking though bushes with sneak peeks of the city skyline. Its a nice board walk track with picnic areas along the way. Did this as part of the walk from Rose bay to Watsons bay (wouldnt recommend the entire walk). Would definitely recommend the walk through the reserve, but the downside is that you need to walk back, if you want to catch the ferry.
