I look forward to my appointments as I am always pampered and leave feeling so glamorous! My only regret is that I did not visit this local boutique sooner to have my lashes done! Well done ladies! KATRINA KING This week I attended a fabulous make up demonstration at Posh Pouts. It was such a beautiful event - a small group of lovely women attended, Vee provided cheese, crackers and some pink bubbles, as well as a very unexpected goodie bag of great quality make up and accessories. The make up look that Vee demonstrated was beautiful, achievable and adaptable to different occasions. There was personalized support to select products after the demonstration which was much appreciated. The next day I tested the new techniques and was easily able to do it on myself. I would definitely recommend this to others!

I have had so many bad wax’s and tints done in the past and love that I have found Kitty. I also get a lot of compliments as well.

Donna Tsonis For just over 5 years I have been going to Sobo Collective because that is the kind of loyalty you give to a business that consistently provides the best service. My colourist, Alex, is so good that I book my appointments for the year to ensure I never miss out! I have been there while Kitty (the owner) has had training sessions running with consultants that are bringing new products to market to ensure her staff stay on top of the latest trends and continue mastering their skills. I’ve seen people’s face light up with joy when they come in for their hair & makeup to be done for an event & leave looking better than the image they were basing their look on. Easily my favourite business for EVERYTHING beauty in the Bayside area.

Emma Peel Kitty at SOBO hair salon is the ultimate glam squad! I booked in for a hair and makeup session before a girls night out for me and 2 friends, and Kitty & the team totally transformed us! They listened to what we wanted and delivered a look that exceeded our expectations. The salon itself is also super stylish and welcoming. 100% will be back in again

Jack Abeyratne This place is absolutely appalling…. took our 6 yo granddaughter to get her nails done and were charged $60!!! There was no nail cutting, cleaning or anything else.. literally $60 for less than 10 mins of their time.. they were obviously aware that she is just a little girl and doesn’t need the same level of detail as an adult…. that was fine. However, applying a few stickers on her fingers apparently cost $50! Wow! When asked, the manager (owner?) was not interested in finding a resolution to keep an absolutely shocked customer happy and was fine with receiving a bad review instead. They really don’t care. WE WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! EDIT: It’s been less than an hour and the stickers are already falling off - see pics. This place is terrible. EDIT: A couple of hours later almost all the stickers have fallen off….

Holly Jane Rushed pedi with crooked nails and cured smudged polish. No massage, no moisturiser, only some cuticle work. Next day and polish is lifting because of the uneven job. Awful.

Klara Rawdanowicz Was stopping by in the area and came across this place. The lady was super nice and friendly, chatting to me while doing my nails. I usually have to keep my nails short (I’m a musician) and some nail techs can make that look stumpy, but these came out so neat and nice - I really like them!

Suzanne Worsley This has been the best nail experience I have had … and I’ve been to many nail bars in my time !!! I have just had SNS nails and am very happy with the service I have received. Anna did my nails and she took her time and spent lots of attention to detail. All staff have been really lovely and welcoming. There is also a great atmosphere in the shop, it’s been a wonderful experience; so much so I will continue to come here every time I need my nails doing. They even squeezed my daughter in also so she could also have her nails done and sat her next to me in the shop. We love it here ! Booked in for a pedicure next week too! Suzanne

Mandy & Jim I have been going to Primrose nails for several years now. The staff are fantastic and they always manage to fit you in for an appointment. Their nail work is great I have never had any problems with their quality work. I leave feeling refreshed with sparkling nails every time. I would highly recommend this family business.

rachel wolf They don’t know what they are doing and will argue with you about it. Rushed through the job, broke my nail in the process and when I asked for them to fix it they said it was not possible because I chose shellac rather than sns, which they always try to make every customer get. Then they charged me $15 more than they have ever charged me before for a rushed, incorrect job which I will have to get fixed by another salon tomorrow. I recommend avoiding.

The salon could be a little cleaner, but the products are top quality and so much care and attention to detail was given to my nails. I couldnt be happier. Thanks! :)

Luna Anderson The ladies at Miss Urban Nails and Beauty are nice. But when i got my nails done their last i had to pay $55 for a french tip manicure with sns. I did like my nails after i got them done but i definitely wont be getting French sns anytime soon they charge to much for a french tip manicure. My nails only lasted a week. $55 for a manicure that only lasted a week that’s quite pricey other then that the other manicures are super affordable and great prices

Christina Viney I’ve been a customer of Miss Urban for > 5 years. I used to really appreciate the quality and service, but both have gone downhill in recent times. Last Friday I had a pedi and a Shellac mani. I had booked online and allowed for the allocated 40 mins for the pedi and 35 mins for the mani. I prefer to do them separately and get quality work, as when I’ve had my mani done in the pedi chair I’ve always found the finish to be average. As soon as I was in the chair for the pedi the staff wanted to begin on my mani at the same time. When I resisted and said I wasn’t in a hurry and wanted them done separately, she continued to cut and file my fingernails. This despite there being only one other customer in the salon and plenty of staff sitting idle. I felt rushed, which was the last thing I wanted when this was supposed to be my pamper time in the midst of a very busy week. When I eventually sat in the mani chair and had my fingernails done, sure enough the cut and shape of my fingernails wasn’t right. And the kicker? My Shellac is now chipping… just five days later. I’ve been a loyal customer of Miss Urban over a long period of time but the decline in quality and service, not just at this last appt but at my last couple prior to that, means that sadly I won’t be returning.

Ruth Parker I went to this place last Wednesday. A week later, half of the nails are broken and peeling. I go to another Salon usually, but they couldn’t fit me in. I work a desk job and have never had this problem before. Cheap workmanship. I usually get 3 weeks out of my nails before I need a new manicure. To have to go a week after an SNS and pedicure where I spent $90?! Really poor service, poor technique. Never going back.
