Maegan Brown Francesca is so incredible at what she does, I love her attention to detail and her high quality, handmade silk lashes. They feel and look so natural, they are so lightweight and she always makes sure to retain the integrity of my own healthy lashes. She doesn’t use synthetic products so I never have any issues with the lashes falling out of shape when I sleep. The natural volume she creates is beautiful and never feels too much. I also love the shape she creates with the lashes which are suited to my face shape. Thank you so much Francesca! I am so happy every single time with your incredible work :)

It was a lovely space to spend the morning before the wedding and everyone felt relaxed. Nuria arranged for two hair and two makeup artists to make sure our morning ran on time (My bridal party was so impressed!) and everyone got the attention they deserved. Everyone felt so beautiful and looked stunning. Our makeup and hair held the entire day and long into the night - even with the hours of dancing! I would highly recommend cameo emporium for your bridal party!!

I didnt like the sensation of the curling rod on my lid asked the lovely Olivia if we could abort the mission, which she did and she was very kind and about it - we just went with the tint, which went smoothly and looks great. I opted to have brow sculpt and tint with my remaining unused appointment time - it was really well done and I am delighted with the results - and Olivia was just lovely & patient with me for the duration of the process. Coda Lune I had a truly wonderful experience at Allison Browning Therapies in Brunswick. The facial treatment left my skin feeling refreshed and glowing, and the brow sculpting was precise and beautifully done. The peaceful, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to relax—and the highlight might just have been Agatha the cat, who curled up on my legs and added an extra layer of warmth and comfort during the treatment. It was a very calm and relaxing space and Allison was able to diagnose a skin concern I had and provide a really practical skin program that has actually worked! My skin feels like it’s actually glowing! I highly recommend her facial treatments if you want great results and a calming, personalized experience.

Joanna Hall It’s taken a while to write this because it’s so hard however so important. My daughter came for a cut, first time there and very nervous. We booked the quick appointment. We indicated the less that is taken the happier we will be. The man who was cutting used the scissors 3 times with little snips on loose knots mid way from the scalp. These knots would have come out with ease with just a few seconds. I watched and trusted he knew what he was doing. Im kicking myself. When she came home to shower 3 huge chunks of hair came out , clean cut chunks back, side and just off centre. So so sad. This was only her third time getting a cut. Obviously did not understand thin mix race coils Ekk so so bad. Take the warning and think twice

Laura Parkes EDIT: Im unfortunately going to have to change my review from 5 stars - I got this set of builder gel nails not even two weeks ago and they will not stop peeling away and coming off. When I went in to get them fixed yesterday they told me it was my fault that they broke (I am a uni student and work from home, dont do anything more than normal wear and tear). I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but spending $75 on a set of nails was a luxury I was hoping to enjoy, only to have them start coming off a week later. Ryan did a wonderful job in my nails and found the exact colour I wanted, plus when a couple unfortunately broke he was more than happy to fix them for me

Julie Zen I came in at the end of the day but was able to get a walk in appointment and have my nails done. So happy with the results, the couple who work here are so lovely and continually checked in while getting my nails done, if I wanted anything adjusted. Its been a few weeks and theyre still looking amazing. Highly recommend.

Ella Rouse HURT, HUMILIATED AND HEART....BROKEN just like my nails! I came in around 1-2 weeks ago to get my nails done for my birthday; initially, I wanted to get an acrylic set; however, the very kind man Ryan, who was working, convinced me to get builder gel. He promised me it was better than acrylics, it was healthier for your nails, and that it would be the same price. As the builder gel nails were made to sound so much better, I agreed. This is the beginning of my demise... It took around 30 minutes for my nails to be done—maybe less—which is the quickest I have ever got them done. While the two workers were lovely, I cannot say the same about my nails. THE VERY NEXT DAY, 2 of my nails broke off; in other reviews, the salon claims it to be the clients fault. However, I have gotten my nails done many times, and this has never once happened to me. Mind you, I was not doing anything involving force; one of my nails came off from quite literally scratching my thigh. Within the next 4 days, I was left with only five nails (half my set gone). This was incredibly disappointing, as I had spent 6 months prior saving up the money to pay for this $75 set of nails, which was a plain colour, no designs or charms. Lovely workers; however, if you choose to get your nails done here, DO NOT GET BUILDER GEL. If you would like nails that can withstand basic human activities, i.e., eating food, scratching an itch, typing on a laptop, I would highly advise not going here or AT LEAST getting acrylics.

Allison Bernick They gave me such a beautiful cat eye manicure with builder gel and I’m super happy with the result. The salon owners are a husband and wife with a cute little baby girl and they are really lovely people and great at what they do! I’ll definitely be going back.

sofia B I never usually leave reviews and I have been to Kim’s a few times and always left happy but today I left Kim’s with my hair looking horrendous. First of all she let someone who doesn’t usually cut hair do mine because she was busy. I had also called earlier to make sure there was room for me I would have been happy to wait till tomorrow so Kim could do it. I could tell the other lady wasn’t sure how to cut my hair but I was nervous to say anything and it’s not my job to do so. I showed her I only wanted a small amount cut off and she took off about double from what I asked and my hair is completely uneven. Kim then finished off with the front pieces and i asked if it wouldn’t be short, its short. She also dried the front but left the back completely wet. When you paying someone to do your hair it’s expected that someone who knows how to cut does it and also making sure you have the time to dry the hair and leave your customer feeling good. I know hair grows back but my hair looks so bad I’m really disappointed

Sandra Mylordou Was made to wait 30 minutes, with absolutely no regard (or consideration!) for the fact that I had booked an appointment. I wasn’t even informed about the delay, until 15 minutes passed and I asked what was going on, and how long it would be until I was seen to. They only then informed me it would be another 10-15 minutes. Worst customer service I’ve encountered yet.

Michelle Jarni Hit and miss. Ive been going to this salon for the last year and for months it was great but recently its been pretty disappointing. No matter how booked they are they keep letting more and more people in which means those with appointments have to wait longer too. It takes me at least 1.5hrs to get my shellac mani done. The last few times its been a rough job and the polish seems to have discoloured within a day too. When it is good, Ive loved my nails but its not guaranteed lately.

Ruby McGlashan I don’t normally post reviews but I really felt I had to in this case. I came in today to get my nails done, simple refill of shellac. Seated, easy, fine. I the woman who started my nails know that there might be a few weak ones that would need replacing and also that I had a little cut on two of my fingers on my left hand and if she could please be gentle…… The filing began fine, although a little they used a technique I hadn’t seen before but whatever. My left thumb nail acrylic topping came off, which was fine but my nail underneath ended up being shorter than the other nails which mentioned and they said I wouldn’t need a tip added onto it but I asked for one, and they huffed and puffed about it - even thought the nail was substantially shorter than the others. Then, whilst filing my nails they were so rough with my fingers, continuously over the same spots of my skin that I started to bleed and I asked for them to be more careful. Not one minute later she goes back to the same spot with the same amount of vigour, causing me to cry out and yank my hand away. The whole experience was so awful that I actually ended up crying, in the seat, whilst still getting my fingers butchered, and it wasn’t until the woman next to me getting her nails taken off, asked if I was okay that the woman doing my nails noticed. My technician was obviously was embarrassed and asked if I was okay but I literally didn’t have the capacity to tell her she was the one making me cry… Anyway long story short… nails look okay but a lot shorter than I asked for, skin around nails is not okay I wouldn’t recommend this salon unfortunately, sorry!

Louise Hooton Not one to enjoy leaving negative reviews on here but I have tried this place multiple times and they often say yes to walk in’s, but then you’re waiting 30-40 minute for them to start on your service, alongside that they often are saying yes to multiple people even if there’s only 2/3 staff so they’re outnumbered, therefore causing them to rush and often not do the full service and ensure it’s done professionally and they will still charge you the full price. It’s really disappointing and I’m only writing this because I hope the owner takes this feedback and stops understaffing and encouraging them to take on more customers than they have the time for - this results in customers having their time wasted and not receiving a professional final product of the service they’re paying for. I walked in today for a pedicure and it took nearly an hour and a half from the point of sitting down, waiting and having it done. I noticed they left out doing certain aspects of the pedicure because they were rushed and you are made to feel uncomfortable if you ask them to redo something. This is maybe the 4th time I have encountered this same problem, I won’t be returning again sadly. To the owner: please staff your venue correctly and help your team learn to communicate timeframes and manage bookings, so that customers coming in are getting what they are paying for and not a rushed service. Thank you.

Alina Thorn Rushed job- 10 minutes on my pedicure and walked away with dirt still trapped under my nails. My friend has bubbles on the surface of her nails. The rushed job she provided is annoying because I booked in advance - and the business was still accepting walk-ins despite obviously being unable to accomodate a quality service for a customer who pre-booked. My advice for customers: go elsewhere. My advice for business owner: focus more on quality service, over quantity of service provided.

pinja100 Went with some girlfriends for a nice Sunday mani pedis. We were in there for 2.5 hours and I only had my toes done. Understaffed and very horrible communicating the delay. Other customers were prioritised. I gave up on my nails as it was taking too long. So sat there for 2.5 hours and only had shellac done for toes… Just be honest with how long it’ll take. After a day 2 of the 4 of us had something go wrong with the work that was done, shellac came off / not dry so had damage. Personally My first pedicure and not a great experience.

Laura O donnell Rude, the woman who did my nails wouldn’t even look at me and had to repeatedly ask her to redo each step of my pedicure as she couldn’t be bothered! Also kept speaking to herself in her own language. Very strange experience, avoid if you want a pleasant experience and a proper manicure

Diana Paola Yopasa Ramirez The staff it’s not so friendly. There is one of them that is rushing all the time. She made me feel so scared and my nails were awful. It’s so weird when they ignore you and they are only speaking in their language. I threw my money and time. I got so frustrated because they charged me a lot for the worst experience.

Catherine Robertson I had a pedicure shellac and was pleasantly surprised based on the reviews I read while I was there. I was pleased that they line the foot tub for each new client. Seemed a great idea for hygiene. The girl who looked after my nails although she didn’t create conversation she was polite and answered my questions. I would come back here again if visiting Melbourne.
