Not only is she so skilled and does the prettiest set, she genuinely cares about the health of your lash growth and would give you an honest opinion on things. I would highly recommend visiting her in her gorgeous salon!

Savage Queen I came here to get my makeup "professionally" done for the Year 12 Formal. I showed the lady the Pinterest photo I had wanted, which was nicely blended and everything I wanted, just perfect. The lady sat me down, looked at my face, and got me to have my eyebrows threaded, which I didnt really want, but I got them done anyway. She threaded them, but she made them a bit thinner than I would have liked them, but still, they turned out pretty good; I cant be mad. Next she cleaned my face and whatever, and after she did my eyeshadow, she told me she wanted to see my formal dress and referenced my makeup to the DRESS, NOT THE PHOTO I HAVE BEEN SHOWING HER TO COPY!! She used glittery purple eyeshadow when the photo has a smoky brown eye look. I told her to only use mascara and that I wanted a thin eyeliner look, but she still put on false lashes that werent properly placed, and she didnt make my eyeliner thin. Then, she put on so much foundation and then spread it out with an already used brush that was DEFINITELY used on someone elses bacterial face. Every piece of makeup equipment she used was dirty. She even touched the makeup applicators products to my face, meaning she does that with everyones face. She was meant to put it on the back of her back, which is CLEAN, like how every makeup artist does it. I had also done my skincare before going there, and still my makeup base was dry and cakey. And the way she put the blush on made my face look even fatter. I needed my face to be sculpted for my round face, but she couldnt even do that. She also had taken one look at the photo to see what lip makeup to do, but she instead went in with a solid matte brown colour that looked horrible. It even felt so dry because she didnt add gloss when she was supposed to. She followed absolutely nothing about the makeup look. I smiled the entire time, acting like I liked it, but in reality I hated it all. When I went out, I hid myself from everyone, but because of how much I hated it, I even got weird stares from random people when they saw me. She is very unprofessional; she even called me back asking for $20 for the eyebrow threading. (I am not paying!!)

Her work is professional and seamless plus shes lovely and warm and creates a super safe environment. She was my first practitioner years ago and when I lived further away and got laser done elsewhere out of necessity I was never able to find someone I felt so comfortable with and trusted with my treatments in the same way. Sania Naphray Went to head and toe for Electrolysis hair removal due to excessive growth from laser hair removal on the face. I met Rose, who claims to be doing electrolysis for the last 30 years and gave me about an hour lecture on her expertise and professionalism and how she is trustworthy... She talked about how laser hair removal companies just want to make money and dont care about their patients where as she truely cares and is there to help people. After her sugar-coated statements, we proceeded to a half an hour patch test on the right side of my face (Side burns) where she performed the procedure and it was not too painful ( very bearable). I then booked her for three hours to get my entire face done. In this appointment, she made it so much more painful and extremely unprofessional, I was in so much more pain than last time and she seemed to be just plucking out hair randomly without the electrolysis procedure. She then after two hours got tired I believe, and was just wasting her time randomly plucking hair here and there almost wanting to pass the hour so she could get paid more.. I was having to direct her for an entire hour which hair to treat and point out so many spots she had missed. I still had so much hair left on my face after the 3 hour session! And the results speak for itself as I have very minimal hair growth in the test patch area and the hair-growth so much worst on the rest of the face. This shows how much she really "cares" about her patients... Absolutely unprofessional. Would not recommend this place for anyone.. specially with electrolysis!

Kaya Kaya WARNING: don’t waste your money. I paid around $500 for prepaid underarms/under lip and Brazilian. I am very unhappy about the service I got from kamal. She went high on the setting without letting me know. I got a slight burnt on my V which she did not even apologise about!! I have paid $500 for 8 sessions. My bum wasnt done and my V lips had hair.. Some bits on my v were missed. Kamala was only good at trying to persuade me to buy more packages.

Zaylia Haddad i went to this place three days ago, the staff were lovely but unfortunately my service was not so great. during the actual service my cuticles were cut and it was a pretty painful experience. i noticed after i walked out of the shop that all my nails were uneven and wonky, all of my french tips were uneven but i let it go as im not too fussed about what they look like. it has been 3 days since ive had them done and one of my nails has already come off regardless of how careful ive been. its pretty disappointing as i paid $70 for uneven nails that lasted all of 3 days.

Every time Ive been they do a great job on my nails, which with normal polish lasts about a week. To me this means they take care when applying as thats a pretty long time. Staff all really lovely. Also did a stellar job on brows!

Chelsea Keating The best SNS I’ve ever had! I can rate this place more highly. Usually when I get SNS, within a week it is cracking or chipped, but at V InStyle it lasts forever. They take extra care and it really pays off. Prices are great too!

Alex Stokes Overcharged for a style that was not what I asked for (cats eye). Technician cut my finger, noticed and didn’t apologise until I pointed it out when I left. Went straight to another salon to have them removed/fixed.

Georgia Cromarty Honestly just such terrible service. I usually hate writing negative reviews but having your eyebrows ruined can’t be returned or undone. Asked for a cleanup and to keep them thick and square and she gave me an insanely thin eyebrow that looks terrible. I tried to say afterward that she’d done them too thin and she argued with me, getting defensive and saying it was my fault for not telling her what I wanted even though I specifically told her multiple times. Super rude, terrible service and now I have to grow my eyebrows back to how they were and deal with them looking terrible for now. Whoever is responding to these reviews don’t even bother just get a better staff member who isn’t blowing though 20 appointments every half hour, actually listens to the people paying for the service and isn’t super rude.

Psipsina I went to Barkly square salon on 1st March and asked for a brow tidy and came away with significantly thinner brows than I went in with. We are in 2025 not 1990, not sure why you would thread them so thin? Also my brows are now two very different shapes with one thicker than the other and I now have to get someone else to fix the mess you have made. I was in and out within about 2 mins, with no care or consultation…very poor experience and I will never return.

Meg Yeates I was served by a staff member called Pranisha. The service was rushed and my eye brows were ‘wonky’ and I had to ask her colleague to fix my brows. She was rushing out the door when she served me. Not great. Normally my experience has been positive.

Katrina Johnson Threading/ Waxing/ Tinting is always great at this place. Only issue I have is the beautician that is supposed to apply the lash extensions tells me she is out of stock, all of the time, and will let me know when the stock is in, which never seems to come in, has been going on for at least 3 months.
