ruchita panchal I used their service for permanent hair straightening, look at the pictures and tell if those hair look like they had straightening done? and i found burn marks on my scalp later. Dont be deceived by all the sweet talking they do when you get the service. Three days later after i washed my hair, they were back to my normal wavy hair. I was furious and desperately trying to contact them, i have had no luck. Walked pass the salon multiple times and it was shut. I gave up applied for refund dispute via my bank and the salon said the purchase was valid and will not give refund. I am since then trying to get my refund. Please read comments and save yourself. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. Let us shut the frauds down.

Jessica Wilus I purchased a Groupon for this salon to do highlights (I am looking for a new hairdresser as mine had moved to Sydney). On the day I was running 5 minutes late to my 11am and I received a phone call from the salon telling me that if I arrived 10 minutes past my appointment time Id have to reschedule. Fair enough, my fault. I arrived 5 minutes past and received a consultation where the hairdresser assured my that the salon used DPL20 (which is significantly less damaging to my hair from past experience so I was very excited to have found a salon that had it), but as soon as I informed them I had purchased a Groupon the vibes changed and I felt like I was being judged. I was passed on to another person to have my hair washed (which you typically dont do before bleaching hair as the oils are supposed to "soften the blow" and add a layer of protection) and was returned to my seat.. at 1:15 I started getting antsy and someone came by to start putting the highlights in. I dont understand why I was being rushed in if I wasnt going to be seen until 1:20pm. I trusted the lady knew what she was doing. They seemed really busy and I wasnt trying to make the job harder. 3:30 rolled around and I started asking myself questions 1) DPL is significantly more gentle than other bleaching products but my hair processes very quickly.. why has it been left on my hair for so long? Im not trying to go platinum and I have dirty blonde hair 2) literally no one was checking on my hair; the lady who did my consultation was with 3 other clients 3) I was notified that an employee called in sick that day so they were understaffed. Im sorry that someone has bailed and work for you is crazy right now - I sympathize - but if this is the case why didnt you reschedule appointments? Instead Im waiting over two hours for someone to put bleach in my hair and leave these chemicals on my head with no supervision. At 345 the hairdresser the salon called to help had arrived and started washing my hair. She was very sweet and I thanked her for coming in on her day off to help, but that I needed to be in the city by 5 pm. She left me at the basin for 15 minutes - I assumed she needed to speak with the woman who consulted me and put the highlights in my hair because she needed to know how to proceed... or that something was wrong. The latter assumption was correct. When she sat me in the chair and undid the towel holding my wet hair it was white and tangled. She spent 30 minutes trying to untangle the mess and 10 minutes trying to cut the fried ends while keeping the length. I kept thanking her for being so kind and careful - she was really trying to turn this experience around for me which I really appreciated, but the damage to my hair was done. I could feel the brittleness of my hair even though the serums and round brush curls. The guy at the front desk took the Groupon and charged me extra for the length of my hair and toner and then had the audacity to ask me if I liked the color knowing how the appointment had gone. I told him I was in a bit of a rush and he handed me a gift voucher for $50 off my next haircut and stressing that the salon never gives vouchers so it was a big deal to receive one. When I got home after class I inspected my hair. First of all... DPL20 was not used because my hair doesnt need to be toned with dpl20. If DPL was used at all it would have been 30 or 40 which is much too strong for my hair leaving it the white color. Second, she double bleached patches, so my now much darker natural hair color that hadnt been touched in the last two appointments remained untouched, sitting next to strands of hair that were essentially stripped to half their original width and disintegrating. I could literally see through the ends of my hair. I purchased oils, hair masks, limit washing my hair and havent highlighted it since; 6 months later my hair is splitting to my root, breaking, and orange. Maybe my experience would have been different if they werent so busy? If they dont like Groupon, maybe dont advertise with them?

Caoimhe Fouché Totally forgot to take this place because it was SO GOOD. I used a deal so my services were a fraction of the price. The whole experience was amazing, the stylists knew what they were doing, so talented, and kind, just lovely people. We all walked out obsessed with our hair and it was completely undamaged. Wont to anywhere else again.

Tomo S I don’t usually write reviews but this time it was disappointing so i will share my experience.
Firstly they made me wait for almost 1h to get started. And the lady said it was crazy busy at that time and their attitude was very friendly but never apologized.
I felt the place was just unorganized.
Because hairdresser left me with bleach on and didn’t come back after the timer rang.(Bc of this, my hair got extremely damaged and it’s melting....))
Also because I told them that i needed to leave salon at 4 bc i had work, and she said she will finish by it but still they kept me waiting for everything (shampoo, dry, everything) and it never finished on time. I couldn’t get trimmed and didn’t even finish blow dry. And seemed like they blamed on me that we need to rush but they mede me wait for 1h in the first place...:/ (i booked at 1 so we had 3h)
If only the result was good, i will be ok despite all of this BUT result is unforgivable, terrible , nothing like balayage at all, it looks uneven and i look like penguin.they should not put balayage on menu if they don’t have skills for it.
And after i put 1star, they texted me to delete rating............ also they made excuse that hairdresser was sick.(Seems like they always use the same excuse...)

Karin Traeger Hermosilla Ok...how can I start....maybe a few photos will say more than words.
A bit of context: I havent done anything in my hair for the last 3-4 years. I have never done full head foils or anything like that. So, pretty much a white canvas...right? I thought to give myself some TLC and get a nice balayage. I show photos to Priya and she said yes, I can do that.
She mentioned how she had 7 years of experience, so I trusted my slow growing hair.
I purchased the Groupon that included the Olapex treatment, which was not offered but charged separately with the other fees of long hair and blabla. I didnt care about paying extra...lets support business, specially now. In a nutshell, I paid over $200 for this, which is pretty close to what other salons like BODA would charge you.
Anyway, long story short....this is my hair. I look like I cook meth in my kitchen or I dipped my head in a bucket of bleach.
After a few days of just thinking wth to do with my life (and head), I emailed Mark to ask for a refund, as basically my hair was ruined and I would be going to an expert colourist to fix it. I sent him the photos below, and how basically my hair is dead. Finito. Gone.
He pushed me to go back and let them fix it or try to see what happened, which at this point, I guess everyone would agree with me that after having that mess done to your hair, there is no confidence on going back anywhere close to even Docklands...or even leave your house at this point.
I told him that mistakes happen, that maybe I am a 0.1% of failure, that maybe Priya wasnt that expert on balayage, but I still wanted my money back as I didnt want to keep wasting my time and his while not feeling comfortable and satisfied with the major damage to my image.
Lets not mention that part of my work is public speaking....
I kindly requested him to do the refund and that we could leave it there.
He refused and that there was a "process" for those refunds.
Well...sadly, Mark, your website claims "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" which could be taken as misleading advertisement. There is no fine print of that "process" or accessible policies in your website or salon to allow your clients make their choice before signing up for a "hairmageddon".
Also, as the damage could be considered major, as it will cost me who knows how much to fix this and bring my hair back to a "normal" state...the consumer can decide for a refund. I wanted a low maintenance look. Probably after this, I will have to keep going back to a salon to avoid looking like a crack head.
Hair is not just a group of keratin fibers. Hair is self-steem, good mental health, and the list can keep going.
I will be keeping this review up to warn everyone on buying a Groupon or promotion for this salon.
Better spend a few extra dollars and go to BODA or Randall&Randall....unless you want to shave your head for $200
I will be filing a formal complain with the ACCC.
First photo is me BEFORE. The messy ends are due to a messy bun. My hair was properly looked after. Just have an idea of the colour.
2nd-4th photo are the RESULT. The how I am calling it: "the Britney before shaving" hairstyle.
