Cherie H Attended a beautiful birthday lunch here on a sunny Sunday. There is plenty of outdoor seating and lawn for activities and also a covered balcony area in the restaurant. The wine was lovely and the pizzas were tasty too. I was a bit disappointed they were not hand made bases but the toppings were good, especially the lamb pizza. Overall a great place for a large group and a relaxing afternoon

Erick Tiapson A great, relaxing spot to enjoy quality time with family and friends. The venue is pet-friendly and child-friendly, with plenty of seating available. Guests are welcome to bring their own mats for a picnic setup, though food service is not provided in the picnic area. There are balls available for kids to play with on the grassy areas. Clean restrooms and friendly staff add to the pleasant experience. The place is also suitable for hosting events. Food and drinks are reasonably priced, though the menu offers a limited selection.

Lee N Absolutely love this place !, sit on the decking (with closed in blinds and heaters if needed), or move out to the beautiful lawn area with seating and fire pit. It’s so peaceful with incredible views. The food is beautiful and of course the wine is incredible !! Today we had the pleasure of being served by Kate who is an absolute credit to Helen’s Hill. Her friendliness and knowledge made our visit even better. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful winery. You won’t be disappointed.

Lucinda Brancatisano Came here yesterday with my Mum and Step Dad for my 29th birthday. I had never heard of Helen’s Hill. But it is one of my favourite wineries. The staff were lovely, food was amazing, views were spectacular and wine was delicious. I’ve recommended to co workers and will definitely be coming back.

Michael Case Came here for lunch on a Friday with friends. Started with the wine tasting and then had the antipasto share plate (with a bowl of chips!). Finished off with some desserts. Sat on the balcony with a very pleasant view. Professional service. Reasonable prices.

Jitendra Patel Nice and beautiful picnic place for all age groups. BBQ and public toilets are handy and clean. Long walking trails around the lake. Little kids can enjoy a lot with a kids playground and a little water splash is the bonus for them. Ducks in lakes are all the time. Lots of benches around the lake are also convenient.

Rachael Morrison Lillydale Lake is the best place to come for a walk, run or just to sit and watch the world go by. The wildlife are thriving, with rabbits, ducks, water hens, fairy wrens and egrets to spot around the surrounding area. The playground is fully equipped for children to enjoy and the gardens are well-maintained. What a beautiful place to relax!

Peter A Great location with BBQ and shelters. Public toilets available. Great spot for a paddle boarding, etc. Childrens playground is also available. Parking can get difficult at times, but generally, you can get one

Hoe Bing Lo What a superb park. Great for kids and adults alike. The lake people congregate and sail remote controlled boats. My kids enjoyed the monkey bars. Its. A collection of bars that are arranged in a fun way so you can pretend to be a ninja warrior.

Isuru Munasinghe Good place to get wet with kiddos. It has a small water play area where the kids can enjoy a great deal. The lake has separate areas for boating and swimming. Have an ice cream truck and a drink truck. There are plenty of picnic spots and plenty of area ride bicycles.

Lorelle Armstrong Last Sunday I went to see A Toast to Melba at the Yarra Ranges Regional Museum which is the story of Dame Nellie Melba and had a great time. The exhibition was very interesting and well presented.

Tarquin Harvey We love visiting the gallery & museum in Lilydale. The ongoing exhibitions are always a hit with the kids who love to learn about their local history. The temporary exhibitions are vast, engaging and often very informative! We loved the Bec Opin exhibition which was such a kid-focused exhibit. Loved how interactive it was. I went a couple of times with and without kids! The front desk often have a little craft corner which weve spent many hours creating in. It is such a calm, peaceful and creative environment to be in. Perfect for kids and adults.

Diane B Great space. Good COVID-19 protocols. Enjoyed the local history in the permanent exhibit, plus the display of quilts. Well worth a visit.

Caroline Murphy A lovely walking path adjacent to, and crossing, Olinda Creek. The walk comprises a gravelled pathway, with a number of park benches adjacent. You get quite close to the lovely little creek. A beautiful walk on a lovely autumn day.
