Hayley W I’ve been seeing Dr Jun at Prahran Family Dental for the past few years, and I’m so glad I found him. I’ve always had really sensitive gums and used to feel quite nervous about going to the dentist, but Dr Jun is incredibly gentle and patient. Since seeing him, my gum sensitivity has improved so much that I can actually enjoy cold drinks again. He’s also very professional, honest, and genuinely caring. He takes the time to explain things clearly, remembers my history, and always checks in on how I’ve been at each visit, whether it’s six months or a year between appointments. The clinic is clean, welcoming and reliable, and they’re really transparent with their pricing, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend!

Alisdair Horgbury I am new to the area and this will be my new dentist. There are three main things I look for in a dentist. 1. Good standard of care. 2. Integrity. 3. Value. This dental surgery has all of the above. The reason I changed to them is that my old dentist is far away now. I was worried I wouldnt find anyone as good. I was very pleased with Dr Juns approach. He understands that not everyone knows a lot about teeth and explained everything in a way I could understand. He did a thorough scale and clean without causing pain and was always careful to make sure I was comfortable. Outstanding. The really important thing for me too was that he wasnt trying to manufacture a profit. I have experienced this kind of unscrupulous behaviour before with other dentists. If anything, Dr Jun was trying to steer my fears clear from unnecessary treatments, or other dental devices. Absolutely fantastic. The price I will let them speak for themselves. Oral exam $65 Scale and clean $130 Fluoride treatment $40 X-Ray x 2 @ $45 ea $90 If you dont know which dentist to go to in Prahran, you wont go wrong if you go here. The staff monitor their online enquiries and will respond as well. Like the other reviewers I highly recommend them.

I had a complete upper and lower dental implants and now I have a great looking as well as fantastic use Set of teeth. It has been a long process, however, Dr Helen has always been very meticulous in her work, her attention to details was impressive, and I am very grateful. I was considering to do this implants overseas where they said it would be just a fraction of the cost, however I am really glad I stayed in Melbourne and chose Dr Helen’s studio. It might be initially be cheaper to have done it overseas, however the whole process would have not been possible to be completed in a short stay overseas which means multiple travels and hassles. SM Trading For 20 years I had outstanding dental care because my cousin was a dentist. Unfortunately she retired and I started to look for someone to take good care of my teeth. For next 10 years I was bouncing between various recommended dentists only to be disappointed. Finally friend of mine recommended Dr Helen and right from the first initial consultation I knew I found what I was looking for. Subsequent visits proven my initial impression. What impressed me most is that Dr Helen does what is necessary but at the same time refuses to do what is not required from good dental health perspective. Dr Helen professional integrity is second to none in my experience and that’s why I stay with Dr Helen until I expire or she retire. I’m twice her age so I’m sure she has been appointed my dentist for life:)

F B I can’t recommend the team at Prahran Dental Group more highly. I have always had high levels of anxiety associated with dental work, to the point where I’d often require sedation for the smallest procedures. But Dr Frederick is incredibly gentle, and he and his staff go out of their way to ensure you’re comfortable and well informed. I’ve even found my anxiety has started to lessen. To anyone browsing Google looking for a really gentle, friendly dentist - this is the place.

I can have slightly sensitive teeth so she made sure to stop and give me breaks when needed. karen walters George is a great dentist and his staff are all very professional and make you feel at ease. I have massive dental phobias and been to this practice to have several dental procedures with sleep dentistry. This is the dentist to see if you are scared, there is no reason to not see a dentist when George and his staff really look after you and there is no judgement. Im really pleased with my new smile thank you.

S Wellinger I have had Dr George as my dentist for at least 5 years now, initially for sleep dentistry & mouth splints and then as my main dentist. I also get my teeth cleaned at his clinic by one of the dental hygienists. He is a very patient and softly spoken man and understands the fears and anxieties that going to the dentist can create. He is an expert in his craft. The dental nurses and the reception ladies are super friendly too. This venue really cares about their patients.

Susan Fraser Pauline keeps me coming back every 6 months. She’s kind, genuinely caring, considerate and encouraging with my dental hygiene. Whilst I can, I will continue to make my 5 hour round trip to Lifetime Dental. It’s worth it!!

Effie Katrakazos Unfortunately, this was the most unpleasant painful experience I’ve ever had in my life. I went in with a sore tooth pain level around 5 and decided to get a good clean and checkup. The dentist was rough as guts and spoke the entire time with the nurse about their weekend plans and other stuff. I kept raising my hand for a little respite. After the clean, she identified that my tooth was indeed infected & recommended I come back the following week for a filling (not a root canal). She said the receptionist will provide me a quote. After the receptionist had trouble processing my claim with my insurer and overcharging me $65 and then receiving the eye-watering quote of $1003 for one filling, I noticed my infected tooth pain level shot up to 9. I felt weak and cold and felt faint. I told the receptionist I wasnt feeling well and the receptionist went back into the room to tell the dentist. The doctor or nurse did not come out to check on me at all, instead the receptionist gave me a copy of a script for antibiotics. No care. I left the clinic feeling dazed with no information. I cancelled the follow-up appointment the next day and informed them that they overcharged me $65. I was told to come back the following week bc the receptionist was on leave to get the refund. When I went back the following week, the staff member was apologetic for the poor experience and said it was most likely “a misunderstanding.” She fumbled in her bag to locate $65 to refund me. I could not in good conscience recommend this dental clinic.

Basile Nock Charges you an extra $380 for x-rays which are inherently useless, takes a phone call during the consult and cuts it short. Only interested in maximum $$$

violector Nice relaxing environment however not holistic at all and poor listening skills. Got quoted $900 as I chose a cheap option. On a second visit I got told the best option was to spend $7.5K, ignoring my choice. I also had bone fragments not removed after the second visit. I hope they improve their communication and service and they have created a nice environment.
