1 /5 Damian Lipari: "I knew I never should have taken on this ring"- the jeweler. Jeweler was rude and exposed/created defects and marks that were not there before I gave them the ring, they took no accountability for the half baked finish the ring was given back to me in. They removed intentional aging and didnt oxidise the engravings after taking my money. They also argued with me saying that all of the defects they created were there beforehand as if I didnt know anything about my own ring. Opened up a hole in the piece and left it there also arguing wether or not it was a hole. Re-shank was done acceptably.

1 /5 Evann: Do not entrust ring resize to this jeweller. Please read as I am not just a venting disgruntled customer. Against my better judgement and with a view to support a small businesses, as opposed to the franchise jewellers, I made the mistake of entrusting a ring resize which I’m sure many of us have done many times over the years without any issue, which is what I was expecting. At the cost of $230 to resize, the high quality ring purchased many years ago from a reputable city jeweller now only worn for special events and outings by my daughter, (was her mothers) the band had come apart where it was resized. After many years of having rings, resized and serviced etc I have never experienced before nor has any of my peers. I return to the shop, only to be met with resistance from the very first conversation with Carmella. Too much to detail the conversation here but it was suggested for the resize to come apart, had my daughter put her hand in chemicals!, I will stop there, if you think about the ridiculous suggestion, chemicals have affected the work done on a gold band, what would it do to the skin on the hand. After assessment, they wanted another hundred dollars to fix it, with no flexibility. For the ring to come apart there is some workmanship issue which was noted by the original jeweller, I purchased it from where I should have had it resized in the first place. So much for supporting local traders. I’m not talking about stock that they sell, but I strongly suggest do not in trust any jewellery work here. While it is okay to pay and the staff are happy taking money, however when there’s an issue they just didn’t wanna hear about it. This is in line with another review here. They are not helpful at all. $325 for ring resize after first job was botched. Never again.

1 /5 Natalia Skolarikis: The most recent reviews are spot on. I took a gold necklace in to have the pendant changed to a different white gold chain and to also shorten the white gold chain. They quoted me $65 maximum for everything to be done. I had specifically spoken to the lady at the counter about changing the original gold jump ring to a new white gold one (as you would expect). When I went to pick it up they changed and shortened the necklace but didn’t change the jump ring. I told the jeweler that I had been specific to change the jump ring, she said no problem and she would fix it for me. I just went in to pick up my necklace now and they told me it was $135 for everything! I asked them why it was so expensive and the lady told me that the jump ring was $70!! They never communicated with me how much it would be to change it, especially because it was their fault for not changing it over in the first place. I am so disgusted and angry that I paid such a ridiculous amount. Additionally, the soldering work on the jump ring is lumpy and discolored which just makes this all the more frustrating. Stop scamming your customers and then blaming them for being upset with your dodgy work.

5 /5 joolz O: Highly recommend. Experienced jeweller on premises. Repairs and remodelling are done here. Watch batteries are fitted. A treasure trove of gorgeous jewellery and gifts that you wont find any where else. Treat yourself.
