1 /5 Shannon M: I would not recommend Anthony Bowlen as a lawyer, and by extension would not recommend this firm to any friends or family. Tony was engaged to settle an estate for my family. However, throughout the dealing Tony has been extremely difficult to get in contact with, and has made several monetary errors. He made errors in distribution of funds (which he acknowledged in a letter) but has not correct this error for over a month. Throughout this month Tony has ignored all emails and calls from me. All emails have also included the administration team as recipients, yet I continue to be kept in the dark on this matter. This is extremely disappointing.

1 /5 Stereo Safari: Was referred to this place by Legal Aid Victoria. I was enquiring for legal services in the area on Family Violence. The person on the phones did not seem to understand what I was asking for. It seems like a very simple question. Was put on hold multiple times, obviously to check with someone that did know. Then was told that they do not deal with Family Violence Law when clearly Legal AID lists them as they do. As a courtesy I notified the front of desk operator to this fact, she proceeded to have a go at me that "Legal AID doesnt always have things right".... I responded by saying "Im just letting you know, so that maybe you can update your profile, and not waste my time, your time and anyone elses" Before I finished, the phone was slammed in my ear. If this is how they handle FREE referrals, I wouldnt trust them with a single $1 or billable hour. UPDATE: I was not seeking FREE legal support. I was enquiring about a Legal AID grant. You get paid for that. Dont lie, I was not aggressive. You guys obviously feel threatened when someone points out something that you guys should update on the Legal AID directory as you get referrals from it. The phone was slammed on me. I will consent to sharing the audio recording, so we can all be the judge of that phone call. Im not sorry I sent a one star, if I could have given you zero stars I would.
