I wish to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent interaction with your lending specialist, Vikas Ahuja, at the Craigieburn branch.
On 13 August 2025, I spoke with the branch manager, who informed me that while the 25% Victorian First Home Buyer scheme had been exhausted, there was a 15% scheme available with a 5% deposit. I was told that Vikas Ahuja would contact me to discuss this further, and I had an appointment scheduled for tomorrow.
However, today, out of the blue, Mr. Ahuja called me and, in an unprofessional and dismissive tone, stated that his manager had “lied” to me and that no such scheme existed. This was both arrogant and disrespectful. To make matters worse, I later confirmed on the official website that the 15% scheme does in fact exist.
This interaction wasted my time, showed a complete lack of professionalism, and left me questioning the reliability of Commonwealth Bank’s service — despite being a loyal customer for many years. Such behaviour not only undermines customer trust but also reflects poorly on the branch.
I believe this matter warrants serious attention.
