1 /5 Brian: AVOID! – UNSANITARY & POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS
I have given this gym 10+ chances to address its ongoing health and safety violations, yet management continues to ignore serious concerns. The facility’s restrooms are consistently unsanitary and pose multiple hygiene and safety hazards to members.
- Severely Neglected Restrooms. The toilets are consistently filthy, overflowing, and emitting a strong odor, creating an unsanitary environment. The lack of proper cleaning and maintenance violates basic health standards.
- No Hand Drying Facilities. The only hand dryer has been out of service for months, and paper towels are never refilled. Members are forced to leave the restroom without properly drying their hands, contributing to the spread of bacteria.
- Defective Toilet Facilities. The toilets are frequently clogged, leaving members no choice but to improperly dispose of used toilet paper, further exacerbating sanitation issues. This is a clear sign of plumbing negligence, which could lead to bio hazard risks.
- Hazardous Air Quality. The ceiling fans in the restrooms are missing covers, allowing large accumulations of dust and debris to fall onto members. This creates a respiratory hazard, particularly for individuals with allergies, asthma, or other sensitivities.
Despite numerous complaints, management has failed to take corrective action, suggesting either gross negligence or an outright disregard for member safety. To be honest the gyms failure to address these "violations" most likely constitute breaches of health codes, workplace safety regulations, and public sanitation laws. Members deserve a facility that meets basic health and hygiene standards - this gym fails at every level.
Avoid until management acknowledges their responsibility to provide clean and safe environment
However the staff (especially Dan) are superb, they clearly care about the gym and its members, but they’re clearly stuck with a management team that doesn’t care about basic safety or hygiene.
