5 /5 Robert Murray: Weve been clients of First Financial since November 1995 when FM was called Supermaster. There have been several name changes and office locations since our first involvement. My first association with the then Supermaster was at the place of my employment - The Hawthorn Institute of Education as a Senior Lecturer/Academic Registrar. HIE was in the throws of becoming a campus of The University of Melbourne, Faculty of Education. The U of M was keen to retrench staff or for staff over the age of 55 to retire. As I was to turn 55 in November of 1995 we thought it best, after lengthy discussions with Supermaster for me to retire and gain considerable financial benefits as a result of my retirement.
Our first advisor was Brad Jackson, and for the last number of years, Chris Crough. Retiring has been great. Great because First Financial has been responsible for all our financial affairs. In this day and age, not having a trustworthy financial advisor would be financially difficult as Governments keep shifting the goal posts for retirees. First Financial maintain an extremely high level of research and are able to inform their clients of changes and make excellent recommendations as to how best to ensure the benefits are gong to suit the life style of their various clients.
First Financial comes highly recommended for anyone nearing retirement and seeking advice as to how to investment their finances in blue ribbon investments, pension entitlements, and annuities
