4 /5 Kerryn Ayton: I’ve visited GoldenGreen twice at Airport West. Staff were very friendly & helpful. They explained every step of the process clearly so I understood exactly what was happening. On my first visit I met Dan, a delightful, knowledgeable lady who was patient with my questions & never condensing. I was pleasantly surprised when I got $150 for my unused jewellery. Thanks GoldenGreen, I’ll be back!

1 /5 t14blake: Do not sell your gold here! Go to Medina’s on Sydney Road. After looking online at melt prices for 18k gold I came to GoldenGreen at Airport West and spoke with Catherine. I was hoping for around $50 per gram. Catherine offered me $230 for 11g of 18k gold - roughly $20 per gram. When I told her what I had expected she laughed at me and said I’d never get that. There was a lengthy back-and-forth, then she increased her offer to $300 but I declined. I called a few different businesses in the meantime and went back to tell Catherine what they were offering per gram. She asked me what’s the lowest I’ll take for it - I told her $500. She reluctantly called her boss after which she offered me $500. I declined. I told her that I don’t like the company she works for, I don’t like the way she conducts business, and I don’t like her or her offer of $230. I told her that GoldenGreen is taking advantage of people and that she is a dishonest person. People who sell their gold jewellery do so because they are facing financial hardship. GoldenGreen tries very hard to take advantage of people who are already having a hard time. After this debacle I went to Medina’s and I was offered $630 straight up ... and it didn’t require half an hour of arguing.

1 /5 Daniel Tempini: Tried low balling the price, taking advantage of the uninformed and desperate. Poor form. Offered $90 for 7g of 9ct gold when the going rate is between $36 and $39.50 per gram which on the lower side equates to $252. The screen shots attached are as of the date of this review.
