Renee Murphy I was previously a regular client of David Lin for both my annual tax returns and a home loan. For some time, I trusted him with my financial matters and had no issues—until I raised a simple question about certain charges on my account that were never clearly explained.
Rather than providing a professional response or clarification, Mr. Lin reacted with hostility and insulted me by calling me “poverty.” This remark was not only deeply offensive but entirely unprofessional and uncalled for, especially considering I was a paying client seeking transparency.
No client should be belittled or disrespected for asking legitimate questions about their own finances. I expected integrity, accountability, and respectful communication. Instead, I was met with arrogance and personal insults.
I cannot in good conscience recommend David Lin’s services to anyone. Trust and professionalism are the foundation of any client–advisor relationship, and unfortunately, those were completely broken in my case.
