Have ordered things from Gym Mart before with no delivery issues, but my last order for a weight belt and a couple of bumper plates will be my last.
Despite paying a premium price for Aus Post express delivery during check out, my items, were apparently dispatched by “Couriers Please”. The courier service has longer delivery timelines, something I expressly didn’t want.
Somehow, the couriers report that only 1 item was picked up from Gym Mart, something that Gym Mart contests, and as the consignment has 2 items “Couriers Please” say they cannot deliver the item they do have.
I have managed to source an email address for Jason Guan at Gym Mart. He says that he will chase “Couriers Please” for an update. Two days later, no word from the Courier and the same response from Jason.
I have 2 issues with Gym Mart.
1. I paid a premium for express delivery and didn’t receive that service.
2. I paid for two items and have not received them either.
I’m still waiting for an ETA for the items from either Couriers Please or Gym Mart.
I figured if there is no news in the next couple of days I’ll be chasing a charge back with the bank.
I think most of the gear they sell is good for the price, but even if your items are delivered, you won’t be getting any value from the shipping.
If you can pickup direct, then I think it’s ok, but if you need items shipped, shop elsewhere.
