1 /5 daryl doyle: Made my appointment for 8.30 Saturday 2nd August at the Chirnside Park office , no one showed up for my appointment ,had to ring main office and the operator couldn’t even contact the tax accountant harry I was given to do my tax , office finally opened at 9am half an hour after my appointment should have happened and still couldn’t give me an answer other than he’s running late, no regard for there customers , no phone call , no nothing, I was here on time , and along time off work to use them , first time using this company for my return , will never use them again, especially chirnside park office.

2 /5 Daniela Pi: Had an appointment 10 days ago. Agent was Francessca. She seemed to be on top of everything. We left the office really happy. It’s been 11 days and the ATO is saying that our tax returns are yet to be lodged. Impossible to communicate with the office and all the call centre had to say was ‘you should go back to the office’. Really? I have to drive back to the office to ask them to do their job? What a disgrace.

5 /5 Dana Jacobsen: Was looked after by Suman. Suman was extremely professional, friendly and kind. I felt comfortable giving my details to Suman knowing they would be handled with privacy and care. I hope I can return to Suman to have my tax done again next year.

1 /5 Steven: We booked a joint appointment to process the tax returns for both my partner and myself for the 9th on July. Even though in their reminder it says joint they somehow werent aware of it when first contact was made. When they partly completed mine they made me sign some documents through their online portal ignored my partners part and hung up saying they were going to call back shortly to finish mine up, we call at the end of the day before closing to enquire what happened and they had no response other than they will contact the following day at around midday. They pretty much forgot to complete mine and do hers and took on other customers, we had to call again to finish mine and process hers the second time the next day, after highlighting how bad their responsiveness was they manage to contact back and finish her return and mine. We decided to put the cost of the service to be taken out from my refund and had been made to sign this and saw both amounts taken out of it. Then we went into ATO website and found that hers hasnt been sent after 3 weeks and we had to contact again to see whats going on with that. The district manager said there has been a hold put on her cause there was no payment attached with her part. Knowing that both of ours were charged from my refund she went ahead and sent hers. Today we went to ATO and saw that it was finally in, this time her return shows that "her spose" myself had 0 taxable income which I do have a taxable income and that will prompt some issues with the ATO now. We called back for the 5th time to ask what is going on here, they answer the phone by saying I know your name" you were the ones that gave us 0 in the survey", and proceeded by stating that she was rude cause she replied with an "of course I did- this is the 5th time Im calling to get my returns done right" and instead of figuring how to solve this he mentioned he is working with the customer and cant sort it right now and hung up. Horrible customer service, responsiveness and service. Dont know about H&R block in other areas but dont do business in chirnside park, what shouldve been an hour took almost a month for them to solve and even then theres issues with their service. Very incompetent branch and unprofessional. I wouldnt even give a single star if i could.

1 /5 Callan May: Were do i start i put everything in order from bass statements to phone bills everything in order for my tax being a soletrader i new it wouldnt be to hard 2 months later still havnt done my tax return they never call you when they say they will there hard to get a hold of most the time i should have gone to a private tax agent they claim to have a 60 minute tax return claim 2 months later still nothing its frustrated me. They told me it had been prossesed by there orditors and got rejected but when i spoke to the actual person doing my tax they told me he had only just started it. Terrible i will not being using these guys in chirnside again!
