1 /5 Dan R: Ignored and Dismissed Without a Word I was referred to James Dowsley with the understanding that my case — involving severe medical trauma and complex legal implications — would be treated seriously. After a personal phone call where I was encouraged to send a detailed dossier, I received no reply, no acknowledgement, and no follow-up. Not even the courtesy of a two-line rejection. It was a humiliating display of arrogance and indifference by James Dowsley himself. For contrast, I want to acknowledge a former staff member Adrienna Kisvarda a quality lawyer who once showed humanity and respect — she no longer works at the firm, which unfortunately says a lot about its current culture. Avoid if you’re seeking compassion, communication, or basic professionalism.

However, there is room for debate regarding their effectiveness and level of effort. While I would consider utilizing their services again, I do acknowledge that they could have put in more effort. Despite some doubts they may have had, I remained confident in the outcome. Although the process took longer than anticipated, I recognize that certain factors were beyond their control. Overall, I would recommend their services.

1 /5 Danger Dan: What can I say? If you are able to pay them, they might do their job. If you go through a grant they will continuously cancel on your court appearance ( via text no less ) and essentially leave you to defend yourself. They also don’t pick up the phone after the send the text. Horribly stressful and very dangerous to the client. They simply do not care.
