Zap Fitness 24/7 Carlton - VIC

KZ I joined Zap in Adelaide in December 2022, moved to Zap Carlton in January 2023, and had my last day with Zap in September 2025. Somehow, after all this time, I don’t have a single photo of the gym — so I’m just going to attach a screenshot of my first ever successful pull-up instead. Overall, I enjoyed my time here. The equipment is decent, the place is clean, and it served me well for years. But after moving to another gym (Training Day Burwood), I realised just how tiny Zap Carlton actually is. Honestly, if they could just expand into the Australian Tours Management space next door (which I’ve never seen anyone enter in three years), it would completely transform the gym. Zap is a huge company — extra space and equipment wouldn’t be hard for them. Daniel, the personal trainer I worked with at Zap Newton (Adelaide), was outstanding — extremely professional, and his physique alone was convincing enough. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the same calibre of trainers at Zap Carlton. Now, the reason I’m not giving 5 stars: the membership cancellation. I paid the most expensive tier ($16/week) for 1.5 years, then switched to the $10/week option in June 2024. When I tried to cancel in August 2025, I was told I still had 1.5 years minimum term because I changed plans. No flexibility, no consideration of my loyalty, nothing. I even referred two friends to this gym — and this is the treatment you get on the way out. It’s all fun and games when you’re signing up, but this is what you get when you part ways. Despite that, I had many great memories here, and I genuinely hope others enjoy their workouts at this place.

narinder Joining Anytime Fitness Truganina has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and fitness. The gym is clean, spacious, and equipped with everything you need—whether you’re just starting out or have been training for years. One of the biggest highlights for me is the free group training sessions offered in the mornings and evenings. These classes are run by experienced and motivating trainers who genuinely care about helping members achieve their goals. It’s a great way to stay accountable, push yourself, and learn proper technique—all in a supportive and friendly environment. The 24/7 access is also a huge plus, giving me the freedom to work out whenever it suits my schedule. Staff are always welcoming, approachable, and professional. The vibe is relaxed but focused, and everyone seems to respect the space and each other. If you’re looking for a gym that combines quality equipment, excellent trainers, flexible hours, and awesome member perks like free classes—Anytime Fitness Truganina should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!

Strong Women Can - VIC

Deirdre McIntyre Very inclusive gym that focuses on all aspects of womens health. Importantly there is a focus on functional movement and working out with weights. I took a small group Foundational Movement program and found it to be expertly designed and run. I really liked the camaraderie and encouragement. Im a certain age and need the weights, and the focus on form as I have the litany: bad knees, shoulders, recurring plantar fasciitis. My aim was to not sustain injury and to get back into exercise so I can live and age better. The focus on correct form and alternate ways of doing an activity has allowed me to accomplish this. Strongly recommend this gym!
