5 /5 Roohi meraj: I was first introduced by my best friend Julie to start Pilates at KX Chirnside Park in May 2022. We both started this venture to be stronger and fitter. I was an absolute beginner and knew nothing about Reformer Pilates. I also have health conditions which restricted me from many gym exercises. I was overweight, out of shape, weak and thought how impossible it will be to get my self back on track.
I continued on with my sessions for 3 to 4 days per week depending on which sale pack I used. With the support of all the instructors I had over that time I have transformed myself. I’m stronger , more balanced and toned. My body has a nicer shape now and I fit better into clothes. I feel stronger all over. When I ride my horse my posture is so much better and relaxed. I’m more physically active than some 30 years younger than me. I feel so proud of all my hard work I put in to get this far. I’m happy doing what we do in our sessions and every instructor is qualified to make it work for my body and my physical ability. There are some moves which I’m restricted to do and the instructors give me alternative options which are just as challenging and doable. I highly recommend KX as a total body and cardio workout. I love it and hope to continue for many years to come. It’s a part of my life now.
