1 /5 Damien Simpson: I approached Littlejohn Legal (what was then Michael Benjamin, perhaps in transition) having had conversations with Michael in previous years, and being a Dingley local for the last decade, with a case against a third party.
It started well enough, we looked at my case, sent letters to the third party (at a cost of course), had some advice etc.
This was approx August September last year.
It was about January/Feb this year when I emailed them again asking where my case was at. The junior lawyer was a bit perplexed, and sent another communication to the third party (at further cost to myself) and they responded denying everything.
This started to make things a little more complicated.
So I left it with them. A few more months went by and I hadnt heard anything, so again I chased them up. No response.
I ended up calling the office a few weeks later feeling a little put out that they hadnt returned my comms.
I was called a day or two later from David himself, explaining that the junior lawyer was feeling a little out of his depth and wanted some senior advice, fair enough.
We had a frank discussion and I was told what the plan would be and that I would get a cost for what they intended to do.
That was around May. It is now August and despite emails chasing them yet again, and a phone call to the office a few days ago, explaing that I keep chasing to see where we are at and that if isnt get a response by the end of the day that I would go elsewhere and leave a review.
Well, here we are. I have been ignored again.
It is woeful customer service. Obviously cant be bothered to assist, perhaps its not enough money for them, who knows, but now I am out of pocket over $1000, almost a year down the track from initial conversations and I am not any closer to getting this case finalised. So I have to go elsewhere and start all over again.
Do yourselves a favour and go elsewhere to begin with.
