1 /5 P S: Dont let Arpee / Shannakian fool you and highly recommend NOT to order a thing - unless you are 100% committed to losing your money or your mind.
When ordering the custom piece back in March 2025, Apree and I that I would only pay 50% of the total amount and balance upon pick up - however I was demanded the balance payment almost three months ago otherwise the item would not be delivered the following day. I lost it with Arpee regarding this and she aknowdelged she was totally out of line. Funny enough, three odd months have passed since I was demanded the balance payment however the item has still not been delivered.
Ive was offered a refund by Apree for the $9.5k I had paid which I agreed to but then was told by Apree she was offended that I had accepted her refund. Cleary that was another delay tactic, why offer a refund if you dont intend to follow through?
Ive been verbally abused by Arpee numerous times even after asking her to stop... rather than own the fact the piece has not been delivered or refunded she gets defensive and abusive (another delay tactic).
Ive asked for photo proof of the peice however of course that cant be provided - hence clearly the piece has not even started or been made or there was clearly no intention of Shannkian or Apree ever delivering the item.
I requested images for peace of mind with the understanding as advised by Arpee that her employee Kevin "only needs a couple more days to complete" the item. Funny enough that never happens and im faced with excuse after excuse AGAIN.
In addition to all the above, I have heard every personal excuse possible which has absolutely NOTHING to do with the order and ive reminded Apree that this is a business transaction not a personal freiendship.
Trust me... ive literally heard it all, every excuse under the sun.
Ive been dealing with my own issues and Arpee has not taken on board a single word about what I was going through, instead its ONLY been about her.
I have ordered other pieces from Apree/Shannakian before for our anniversary and my daughters birthday and funny enough not one previous item was ever delivered on time even after the fact that Arpee commits to a delivery timeframe but as soon as funds are received its ONLY on her terms from there on (which are constant lies). I was fortantue enough to have received those custom orders eventually, however they were extremely late. Arpee fails to understand and accept that I am unable to move anniversary dates and or birthday dates, however she is more than willing to accept payments with no intenion to ever deliver on time if at all.
The good reviews here are not legit... there is a review from one of their own staff members George. Or the good reviews are for items they have in stock such as simple initial necklaces etc. Custom jewellery which is super high value is where the issues arise from. Arpees response to never delivering a custom order on time although initially commits to a timeframe in order to receive a payment, her excuses for not delivering on time in her exact words "its not like making a sandwich".
The bad reviews are 100% legit and I can certainly vouch for them as I have experienced the same issues and concerns on multiple occassions.
Ive also heard multiple stories from freinds who have ordered from Shannakian/Apree and have had the exact same issues and requested refunds. Arpee has told them refunds have been processed but either NEVER received and or takes months and months (again with every excuse such as oh my staff got the wrong bank details when processing etc etc). Thankfully this week I received my refund - however I can certainly say that six months of this crap was certainly not worth engaging with Apree/Shannakian.
Finally I have my refund and can move on from the constant lies... but the process to get the refund was not easy and put me through hell and back.
The abuse from Apree on top dealing with her for six months with lies was far from worth it.
