Village Pilates - VIC

A P This is by far the best studio with the highest trained instructors of all the pilates studios Ive tried in both Oz and the USA (and Ive trained in pilates from different course providers so I have an idea on what to look for in quality - but I am not an instructor, just loved learning). They are also incredibly lovely people and enjoy what they do - so the environment is welcoming and friendly. At other studios, I often get to the point where I feel Im stronger than what the instructor is ready to accomodate in the group class. At Village Pilates, they are challenging classes (still allowing for all abilities and levels) but I know Im being pushed to go deeper and gain strength, balance and agility - if Im in the mood for it. Also, Im 5mo. pregnant and they are SO welcoming to me to continue to be in their classes (Reformer, Mat and Barre classes as well as their smaller group classes). They work with me to adjust with moves that are not easy or good to do while pregs. Shout out especially to Lisa, Emily and Hannah!! I am so thankful for this studio to be accepting of me throughout this pregnancy - as Im feeling stronger and more confident with each day closer to birth. I was nervous I would be a burden with needing too many adjustments but they make me feel at ease and confident in the class to do what I can and be part of the group. Thank you team - youre legends!!

Katrina Zhang Our family has been active members in this gym for about 3 years now. Its definitely one of the best gyms to train Jiujitsu and MMA, especially as a woman. I feel safe and respected in this gym. Our three kids also train here. They LOVE the coaches! Theyve helped our kids grow in their confidence, self discipline and of course skills to protect themselves. Highly recommend!!

Bay View Reformer Pilates 24/7 - VIC

Murray Squire Love the flexibility of doing a Pilates session any time of the day rather than having to book in weeks in advance. Studio is immaculately clean and reformer beds well maintained. Huge amount of virtual instruction sessions available. Pilates much more enjoyable than going to the gym. Keeps your body supple and improves fitness.

Flat White Fitness - VIC

Grace Jeffrey I’ve loved being at Flat White CrossFit for 6 months now, coming in with no CrossFit background. Tam, Kiara, Ella and the rest of the coaches make you feel welcome from day one and definitely lead by example. No matter your ability, personal goals or concerns, they support you, offer modifications, and really focus on feeling good and moving well. You’re never just a number here, they genuinely care about every person who comes through the door. The community is amazing too. Everyone celebrates the small wins and makes the whole place feel supportive and fun. The gym is great, but the coaches and the people are what truly make it special.

Chelsea Mok Lovely studio with great instructors. Great place in the Blakehurst community. Highly recommend for those looking to work out in the area and working towards toning and getting a stronger core!
